Summary

I enjoyed the narration of Naomi Rose-Mock
A fantastic series full of excitement, surprises and adventure. Brielle's dark magic awakens a phoenix within her, when she gets sucked into a time portal—to Spain in the year 1735.

fantasy fantastic series
fantastic series full of excitement, surprises and adventure. Well developed characters that show growth throughout and a storyline that flows well. I wasn’t expecting to like a story that started with time travel, this was not only enjoyable but an enthralling read too.
Was pleasantly surprised by the final ending, it brings the series to a close very well. Favourite character was Izzy, she was brave and so loyal.
I’d recommend this book as a fantastic witchy/fantasy based story, for anyone who wants something a little different.

You will want the whole series

Epic series
What would you do to save yourself?
What happens when someone who you thought you had a one betrayed you?
What happens when your enemies are no longer your enemies?
What would you do to save your loved ones?
So much goes on in this series, I loved the magic system and the storyline was wonderful.

What a great story
I've enjoyed every second of this. Brielle and Leo are very interesting characters and I loved getting the story told in both of their POVs. The world and magic system R. L. Perez has created is very interesting and unique, I haven't read anything quite like it. That, and the fact that it has so many unpredictable twists and turns that I certainly did not predict in any way, made this for a very interesting listen. Highly recommended.
The narrator did a great job distinguishing the characters and voices
