Story
In Believe Me, contributors ask and answer the crucial question: What would happen if we didn't just believe women, but acted as though they matter? If we take women's experiences of online harassment seriously, it will transform the internet. If we listen to and center survivors, we could revolutionize our systems of justice. If we believe Black women when they talk about pain, we will save countless lives.

Story
Political risk - the probability that a political action could significantly affect an organisation - is changing fast, and it's more widespread than ever before. In the past, the chief concern used to be whether a foreign dictator would nationalise the country's oil industry or impose onerous new regulations. Today, political risk stems from a widening array of political agents, from Twitter users and terrorists to local officials, transnational activists, hackers and insurgents.

Story
Augusta Savage was arguably the most influential American artist of the 1930s. A gifted sculptor, Savage was commissioned to create a portrait bust of W.E.B. Du Bois for the New York Public Library. She flourished during the Harlem Renaissance, and became a teacher to an entire generation of African American artists, including Jacob Lawrence, and would go on to be nationally recognized as one of the featured artists at the 1939 World’s Fair. She was the first-ever recorded Black gallerist, and worked to advance equal rights in the arts. And yet popular history has forgotten her name.

Story
Piper Hammond has the perfect view to watch the world go by. Tucked up inside her family’s historic home, she records the ins and outs of life in Riverboro in her magazine Riverboro Rocks. But when a catastrophic storm brings the town to a halt, Piper’s world spirals quickly out of control. Her once peaceful home is suddenly filled with displaced monks, lie-crafting teenagers, and big promises from a fringe politician, including one to get three-year-old Donny on TV. As Piper struggles to wrench her life out of the hands of over-eager guests and a nefarious blonde, she starts to realize that a cheerful blog is a long way from a perfect life. When calamity strikes and the house itself turns against her, Piper must choose to step outside her perfect narrative or be trapped for good.
