About Dr. Whitfield:

Dr. Robert Whitfield is a distinguished, board-certified plastic surgeon with a background in microsurgery and oncology who spent years performing breast reconstruction procedures for cancer patients. After an experience with a patient whose cancer had gone unnoticed until Dr. Rob ran deeper tests to get to the bottom of her symptoms, he shifted the way he practiced medicine—taking a much deeper and more personalized approach to patient care. He turned his focus to explants—taking a holistic approach to healing patients with Breast Implant Illness.
