great beginning to a new series!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes! Anybody that is a fan of paranormal / dark fantasy needs this book! I have not read/listened to many dragon books and this one has me hooked!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I tend to like the more badass/ Alpha characters in any story line, so I can't wait to hear about Ghost. But of course Zane and Jordan's story is very moving and exhilarating. I was on the edge of my seat most of the time.

What does Eric G. Dove bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Eric is amazing! His accent and story telling, flawless!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Trying not to give a spoiler out - The scene where Ghost senses a demon presence in their realm and comes to help Zane. Awesome scene!!

Tessa, you're amazing! What a way to start off another spine tingling, attention grabbing, can't put it down, want to live in this world, series! This book has everything you would expect from the paranormal world and then some. And Zane and Jordan's story will keep you on the edge of your seat. Can't wait for the next one. I know it will be great!!

Spectacular Read!

Yep, she did it again. This book is a runaway, can't put it down wild ride, just like all of her others.

Zane is amazing, scary, powerful yet compelling. And Jordan is the kind of person you would want to hang out with. The dragons, the demons, and the dragyri in the lairs - wow. Just wow! Where can I find this portal?

Passion & Poignancy in Tessa Dawn's New Series

If you could sum up Zanaikeyros - Son of Dragons in three words, what would they be?

Passion, poignancy and sensuality dominate Tessa Dawn's new "Pantheon of Dragons" series. In Book #1, Zanaikeyros (Zane) and Jordan, while fated to one another, need to find their own paths into each other's hearts. And this path isn't easy...

What did you like best about this story?

Time is a precious commodity neither one can afford to waste. Yet, a connection from the soul level runs it's own course, and cannot be rushed. Dawn's pacing is superb, with both a sense of urgency conveyed to the reader, as well as homage to the fragile, emotional bonds both characters need to form. Layered into this complex tale are the external forces which both push – and pull – Zane and Jordan into oft-conflicting directions.

What does Eric G. Dove bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Each character's voice was strengthened and deepened with Eric G. Dove's professional narration. I found myself effortlessly slipping into Tessa Dawn's world, with each spoken word. I appreciated the audio version for this reason as I was able to let someone else do the reading while I experienced the story on this unique level.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes there was and I hesitate to reveal this "spoiler." I will say it's a moment which has stuck with me, weeks after reading the book. I'll share a little clue: it's towards the end of the story, and at that moment, I realized the profound connection between both characters.

Any additional comments?

My advice, given the depth and complexity of this story is to read the eBook or print version and then allow yourself to experience it via Audio book. As with all of Tessa Dawn's writing, I found myself inspired and lifted, and am grateful for such a skilled and wonderful author.

Tessa Dawn Does It Again - 5 Hearts

This is the first installment of Miss Dawn's new series... Pantheon of Dragons. It's dark, gothic, paranormal, fantastical, vampiric. full
of raw emotion, and Steam. It is one of those audio books I would love to listen to in one sitting.

OMGosh! Eric G. Dove has the perfect voice for Tessa Dawn's characters. I Love listening to him breathe life into them, making them tangible. Great job, Eric! Props for keeping the voices straight.

Miss Dawn has done her research and it shows in the characters names,
the Pantheon design, the back story, and even the personality of my new Book Boyfriend... ZANAIKEYROS " ZANE" SAPHYRIUS. He is lethal, a Genesis Son, dangerous, intimidating, and sexy as SIN, yet so gentle with his dragyra.

As for Jordon Anderson, her character is intelligent, strong, compassionate, stubborn, strong - willed, loyal with a lot of Heart, and dedicated to her career and friends..

What an incredibly Intriguing journey this story takes you on... one of rage, fear, lust, bravery, including twisted scenarios I did not see coming which left me wondering how much these characters are willing to go through. What will Jordon decide ... to cross over the threshold or not?


Anxiously awaiting for Axeviathon... Bring it on!!

Son of a Dragon this was awesome!!!

What made the experience of listening to Zanaikeyros - Son of Dragons the most enjoyable?

The suspense and intensity of the story. There are so many "edge of your seat" moments that I was just so drawn into the book.

What did you like best about this story?

There are so many things that I love about this story but, I have to say that the bad guys were so captivating. The not knowing of what was coming made this story awesome for me. The sons of dragons and their world was also so descriptive and interesting that I just wanted more.

What does Eric G. Dove bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His ability to bring each character to life. Each with their own unique personality. Everyone is distinct.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were several but, I'd have to say when Jordan finally understands what it means to be reborn.

Any additional comments?

Tessa Dawn is my favorite author so when this new series came out I knew it'd be amazing. I was not disappointed by this first book. For anyone that enjoys dark urban fantasy, exceptional storytelling and lots of intense and suspenseful moments, this book is for you. Can't wait for the next one!!!

Wonderfully crafted take on the dragon legend

What made the experience of listening to Zanaikeyros - Son of Dragons the most enjoyable?

Eric Dove does an excellent job of narrating an intricate and exciting adventure. The characters are fun, complex, and easy to relate to on a very basic human level.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Zanaikeyros - Son of Dragons?

I found the scene of the dragon sons meeting with their fathers to be most memorable. It was thick with reverence and fear.

Which scene was your favorite?

Zane and the dragon warriors rescuing Jordan was by far my favorite. The strength, cunning, and primal ferocity with which they fought was intense. The juxtaposition of that with dissonance Zane experienced added an interesting layer of complexity.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It would be very easy to. The story flows well and the narration is excellent.

This book was an intense introduction to an amazing new journey by Tessa Dawn. Tessa has a true gift for creating characters that readers can empathize with, and characters that come to life in such a way that you verbally root for them, or in other cases...curse them. The story of Zane and Jordan is not your typical "star crossed love". As with her other novels, Tessa shows an intense character arc for them both as they discover who they truly are, individually, and eventually, together. If you're looking for a thrilling novel with love, action, and suspense...you've come to the right place. Welcome to the Pantheon of Dragons!

An Incredible Must Read

Would you listen to Zanaikeyros - Son of Dragons again? Why?

Not sure what I was expecting when I picked up this new book, but what I got was action, intrigue, suspense, danger, and some incredibly powerful characters. Wow! The world building in this new series is phenomenal. That alone would suck you in. But it's the great characters, the constant edge of danger and darkness v. light that kept me on the edge of my seat. I will be making this series an auto buy! Loved it!

Tessa Dawn does it again!

Would you consider the audio edition of Zanaikeyros - Son of Dragons to be better than the print version?

No, I would not consider it better than print but that is just my personal choice I adore books and the printed version to savor and hold close to my heart. However Mr. Dove does a fantastic job of bringing life to Tessa's books. He is simply masterful at what he does.

What did you like best about this story?

The raw emotive quality this story brings, it had me riveted from start to finish.

Which character – as performed by Eric G. Dove – was your favorite?

Jordan captured my imagination and held me captive, such a strong willed yet sensitive character, what I've come to expect from Tessa.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes definitely I could not stop listening to it, simply awe struck.

Tessa Dawn keeps me glued to the edge of my seat with each and every book she brings out, never have I read an author who kept me so beguiled and excited for every book and series she brings out, a total MUST READ and LISTEN!!!

Tessa does it again!

This was a fantastic beginning to Tessa's new series. I'm already a devoted fan of her Blood Curse series and wasn't sure she could top that. Paranormal dragon stories have never been my favorite but with this series I have to amend that. I loved the interaction and bantering between the dragon "brothers" and the wonderful love story that unfolded between Zane and his fated mate Jordan. I was disappointed that it came to a close but I have a feeling I'll get to revisit these characters and newly mated couple in book two which I hope I won't have to wait too long for.

This is definitely a series to follow!
