Lovely Interesting Listen
I thought this book by Maxine Morrey was quite good and I enjoyed listening to it. The narrated did her job well and I thought Gloria Sanders sounds like Gabrielle Glaister.
The story was refreshingly different and I recommend this listen. It was free/included from the 'Plus catalogue' which is always a bonus😀👍

Excellent Narration by Gloria Sanders
Wonderful story, amazingly narrated - Gloria Sanders is honestly one of the finest - her accents are incredible and it really helps to immerse you in to the story.

Great easy listening story.
Loved the storyline. Fab narrator. Definitely recommend it. I listened within a day. One plot issue though. Matt met Fleur’s parents at the same time she did but at the end says he would love to meet them. Small detail but mildly irritating.

This was a credible story line but was stretched out to much.
Having said that. I would recommend as a holiday listen. It’s non offensive

Tears of laughter and sadness
This had me laughing out loud and holding my breath with disbelief. The tumultuous relationship between Fleur and Matt was beautifully written [and narrated]. The complexities of the relationships and subsequent back story were definitely worthy of my first 5 * of the year.

Sweet story
Great story although some phrases and descriptions were used repeatedly which got a little annoying. Good narration and happy ending! Simple and sweet story.

Easy listen
an easy listen dealing with some big issues albeit in a superficial manner. I felt like the issue of adoption portrays adoptive parents as shallow and the repair with birth family was glibly covered too.
over all, I did enjoy the story but when dealing with big issues I wish the author had tackled it properly.

lovely feel good read
Very enjoyable, main charachters are well written, The lead has a convoluted history, a cad of a boyfriend who dumps her she is rescued by an ex soldier with PTSD, and a large loving family.
