The son of a family with deep roots in Israel, Diskin is a member of Israel's statehood generation, whose first memories are of the War of Independence. These children were later called upon to physically defend Israel's existence and sovereignty. Diskin served as a commander in the Armored Corps during the War of Attrition, Yom Kippur War, and later in the Planning Division of the IDF. He eventually reached the rank of colonel.

who is the target population for this work.
having authored one novel and much poetry, and also designed training courses, ..most notably in the United Kingdom s National Health Service, I know only too well that it is vital for the writers agent to identify the Target Population of the piece, ideally before the writer has put pen to paper.
in my opinion this excellent work could be used on courses fior trainers to uss for students to trranslate into Ivrit were the student to need to gain basic written modern Hebrew as well as modern Israeli History,, or for young Israelites who need to prep up on their English ( perhaps following National Service).
literature in translation is where the money is after all.
in this way it may even outsell the Modern classics of Harari or Yehoshua att t tthe endow the day. so it goes.
