About this listen
Mistaken identity, drunk texts, and hysterical mishaps...just another day in my life.
Girls all over the world spill the tea to me about their most intimate questions.
They thank me for talking about sex with them.
For fixing their love lives.
I wonder if I’d still be a relationship influencer if they knew what a train wreck my own love life is?
If I was writing anyone else advice, it would say things like:
Never drunk-text your ex-boyfriend.
No, seriously, that’s a terrible idea.
But if you insist, maybe double-check the number first.
Oops.
But I guess I give good...text, because the stranger I messaged wrote back.
And I responded.
He doesn’t have to put up with my colorful personality - as my hot next-door neighbor describes me. Or my messy schedule.
This relationship is as seemingly perfect as my online persona.
Until we agree to meet up.
When he meets the real me, will he hate me forever?
Or will we be one day telling our grandkids about that wrong text, right love?
USA Today best-selling author Claudia Burgoa brings the flirty fun in this cozy stand-alone rom-com about secret lovers risking it all for romance.

Funny, Heartwarming and fun!
What do you do when you can't write the book you want? Persy is finding out now exactly that. Unable to give words to the page, and unhappy with where she is living, her agent finds her a new place to hang out with hopes the change will do her good. Unfortunately, her neighbor doesn't want her there. Chad is a grumpy man, not interested in anything, not happy with life, and does what he can to make all the people around him feel it too. Persy doesn't let him get away with it though, and gives him attitude right back. One night she texts who she thinks is her ex, only to find out it's a wrong number. The two talk daily, as it's easy to be yourself with someone who doesn't know you and can't see you. Little does she know it's Chad! And the fun begins. It's a great story, funny banter, relevant issues and all the good things Claudia Burgoa brings with every book she writes. Persy has been an interesting character and I am so glad she got her story!
The narration is genius. Main characters are Brooke Bloomingdale as Persy and Jason Clarke as Chad. Both are so good, bringing the emotionally charged scenes to life, and give the funny banter out with hilarity. Adding to the story, is Virginia Rose, Aaron Shedlock, Teddy Hamilton, Pippa Jayne, Virginia Rose and Austenne Gray, each bringing their own characters either previously played or new to them alive. This cast is so talented, giving us all the feels and fun, it was a listen I could not put down.

Fabulous Story & Listen🎧 Delightfully Entertaining
This is an amazing romantic comedy, and I loved everything about it, from Claudia Burgoa’s wonderful writing style to the characters and storylines she created to the perfectly cast narrators who bring it all to life from the pages to your ears. I also loved the originality of the story and the unique way it was told, alternating chapters in his and her points of view, her being Persephone “Persy” Brassard and him being Chad, her grumpy neighbor who does not want her there. Persy is a social influencer and vlogger who has her own podcast, her specialty is giving advice and talking about sex. Her agent hooked her up, and she cut a deal to write a book, but it was not a cut and dry deal, she needed to not only write about dating but to write about her experience on the dates she goes on. At least her deadline is over a year away. She moves into a new apartment in a great building, the only downside was her unwelcoming neighbor. Chad is antisocial, anti relationship and, well, anti-everything really, he has his reasons and we see what they are as his story unfolds. Persy does not let Chad get under her skin, she gives as good as she gets, Chad has truly met his match in her. But as time goes on, he acclimates and gets used to her behavior and routines. In the meantime Persy texts the wrong number and she has a new cyber friend, one she can easily talk with and share her thoughts with. I loved how everything played out in this wonderfully plotted story, it has the perfect balance of drama, humor, heartfelt emotions, a touch of angst, and a slow burn romance. The story is captivating from start to end and the banter and witty banter is absolutely brilliant. Claudia Burgoa, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing lineup of talent, these narrators knocked this audio out of the park. Brooke Bloomingdale and Jason Clarke covered the roles of the two lead characters, Persy and Chad. Virginia Rose, Aaron Shedlock, Teddy Hamilton, Pippa Jayne, Virginia Rose and Austenne Gray jumped in, covering the roles of the secondary and support characters. They are all fabulous at what they do and I love how they take each role, run with it and make it their own and do so with a complete understanding of the characters they are portraying. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and it is always a pleasure to listen to their performances. Thank you for another amazing listen.
