Summary
Gavin Gregory often stares into the abyss - that's his job. An elite profiler at the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit, he hunts serial killers for a living. He knows how they behave, how they think, what motivates them. Considered the best at what he does, Gavin goes to investigate when it appears a dormant psychopath has reactivated. The case takes a bizarre turn when psychiatrist Debra Esteves contacts him and says she knows who the enigmatic killer is.
It soon becomes apparent that what she means is that she knows what the killer is.
But Gavin is a man of science, a rational man. Can she keep him safe from what is hunting him long enough to convince him she's right?

Great Story and Amazing Performance.
Such a great story! The characters are well developed, the back story is well planned and keeps you on your toes. So much potential for a series of books actually. And the narrator is outstanding. Every character has a different voice and an accent. And all done by the same person. Truly incredible work. I can’t wait for the next book.

This was by far the best book I've "read" all year
This audio book is long, but so worth it. The narrator was incredible and did an amazing job of toggling between characters. The story was engaging and full of mystery. This will keep you guessing all the way to the last. I 100 percent recommend this author and this book. I know I have found a new author to add to my favorites list. Chirp chirp! (You'll get that last part after you read it)

Great story, great narration.
The Exorcist meets 12 Monkeys. Loved the audiobook version of this. I haven't listened to Kerr Lordygan before but he sure grabs and holds you attention as a narration. Like all Erik Henry Vick's work, book 2 (Black Bags) was also fantastic (novel, audiobook isn't out yet) and I'm looking forward to the third in the series. I also saw this won the 2021 Readers' Favorite International Book Awards Gold Medal for Supernatural Fiction.

This is a really good book! There is a monster killing people. It might jump from person to person,or it might be all in one guys head.It is too late before we know! Kerr Lordygan was a terrific narrator. I enjoyed it.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Horror Personified
Wrath Child is a well written and developed book that turns the creep factor up a notch. I truly loved how well this story flowed as well as how descriptive and in depth it became. Kerr Lordygan in my opinion did an excellent job voicing the characters and bringing the story life. This is my honest unbiased review that I am voluntarily leaving of my own volition.

Meh...
The writer has potential. But needs to hone his skills and find a better editor. There was too much jumping around that took away from the story.
The narrator also has potential but has not mastered the craft yet. Way too over the top at times.

Just can’t do it!
I tried. I really tried. I changed speed several times to make it less annoying; but, this may be the worst narration EVER!!! The story seems decent, but the weird variety of accents used (and the narrator doesn’t always remember which one goes with which character) makes it unbearable. The narration is so over-the-top and overacted that it is the equivalent of verbal masturbation. Once the book got to the point where the Angel character is prominent I had to give up. Note to authors: any books using this ham as their narrator will not find its way into my library.
