Light on actual story, heavy on sex
I always love a boxset and love shifters and mafia and reading steamy sex but this series seems very unbalanced. The author sets up the world and the drama but seriously it is light on the actual story building and heavy on the shifter/human sex scenes.
It also should have some trigger warnings as it's heavy on spanking, whipping and that classic "forced into submission" that's covered as the "you're my mate" and so I don't need consent.
I think in the first book there were over 5 sex scenes.

NOT FOR ABUSE SURVIVORS!!!!
Let me preface this by saying, I’ve got a very strong stomach and plenty of strange kink to go around but this is Glorifying rape. I didn’t make it past the middle of chapter three and I had to skip most of the content to even get that far. Chapter three in particular is scarily similar to something I experienced as a child. Someone is going to file a lawsuit for a lack of APPROPRIATE trigger warnings.
To the author: If you yourself find this fascinating, I hope you seek help from a mental health professional as soon as possible.

Rape is not strong D/S theme...
1st: I bought this box set after finding it after "paranormal romance" search. The box set description is extremely vague. It in no way contains the Publisher's Note.
2nd: BDSM is extremely focused on consent, the scene in chapter 3 is clearly non-consensual.
3rd: I have a rather extensive library and have read/listened to plenty of books with rough, intense sexual scenes but the straight up rape needs more than just a note it needs a big read trigger warning!

Terrible
I have to say I only got to chapter 3 and I couldn’t take it anymore. This is one of the worst ones I’ve listened to, narrators are terrible and story is terrible
