Summary
Book 11 in the sensational Wisteria Witches Mysteries series by USA Today best-selling author Angela Pepper!
Zara Riddle was looking forward to her first Halloween as a witch. Then the little girl ghost showed up. Zara puts costume shopping on hold, rolls up her sleeves, and does her usual "witcher-i-doo".
But nothing works as planned. Mistakes are made. Dinner parties are ruined. (More than usual.) Could this stubborn spirit be connected to a family member's past? Perhaps the "big tragic secret" nobody talks about?
Zara won't rest until she gets to the truth, even if means pushing the whole coven to the breaking point. And break they do.
In Wisteria, when things start falling apart, there's no telling what powerful forces will be unleashed.
Especially on All Hallow's Eve.

a good listen
this book was a little slow to start but soon hit good action. it is better if you slow the narrator to 0.85 otherwise it is like listening to a book by roadrunner

Love this series
Like all the others in the wisteria series' this story was fun, engaging and entertaining, with a cheeky sense of humour. I dont think it is the best of the series but still worth a listen/read

A STRONGLY WOVEN BRAID
WISTERIA WOVEN is the eleventh book in the Wisteria Witches series and the fourth in the Daybreak sub-arc.
Zany, wacky, good-clean-fun in a world that is crazy. This is the series that I turn to when I just need a little something silly.
On the other hand, we finally find out why Zinnia has always had an aura of sadness around her and why Margaret is so protective of her. The twined plots of Zinnia’s past and Zara’s present are brought together in a braid that gets tighter and tighter, until you see that they do meet. Two paths become one… two branches rejoining to become something stronger.
Archer really stepped up to the plate in this story and Bentley was MIA for most of the book. Kind of hard to be a boyfriend when you’re not there. Rude to make demands for attention when you’re not there, too. That’s my only censure on the story.
As long as there are witches in Wisteria, I will be here to listen.
Narration: Only Tiffany Williams could be the voice for the Wisteria Witches. Again she brings our many favored characters to life with no loss of individuality.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted audiobook copy, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

A more dire story this time.
This is one of the more complicated stories in the series. The saying magic has a price is proved true and might cost the life of one of the wirches.
This is a good story and hard to put down. The red witch house pulls out all the stops for Halloween.

Just imagine Halloween in Wisteria.........
Wisteria Woven is the eleventh book in this highly entertaining series about Zara Riddle, a single-mom, librarian and fledgling witch. Although each book has a separate mystery, the series really should be read in order to understand all the secondary characters, backgrounds and sub-plots. Wisteria Woven counts down the days to Halloween, and even the most vivid imagination can't fully picture the craziness that a paranormal town like Wisteria can achieve. Zara is her usual zany and upbeat self as she plans a Halloween bash to rival the annual gala thrown by the elite of the paranormal world. However, something more than ghouls and goblins threatens the festive mood and even the lives of those Zara most cherishes. As Zara tries to decide how to handle the ghost of a small child that seems to be draining the life from her Aunt Zinnia, the author gives us brief glimpses into a terribly tragedy in Zinnia's past. I must admit that I cried ugly tears during a couple of these scenes, and I am very thankful that Zara and her companions in mischief kept the mood otherwise comedic. As always, when finishing this book, I was not only incredibly impressed by this author's creativity and originality but excited to hear what she will come up with next for Zara and her Wisteria friends.
Tiffany Williams narrates all of Zara's books, and I can't imagine a better choice for Zara's unique personality and even more unique life in Wisteria. Her performance is flawless, and she does a wonderful job of differentiating between all the characters. I especially love her delivery of Zara, her daughter Zoey, and her boss at the library. You will have to listen to understand just how talented is the team of Angela Pepper and Tiffany Williams. I envy those at the beginning of the series; you have such a fun journey ahead of you.

Harrowing Halloween Hijinks
Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
As the Riddle approach a year of living in Wisteria, Zara reflects on what she has been through, the friends she's made, family discovered and the farewells she may have to make in the near future.
There are two main storylines - Zara planning a Halloween party as a protest to the restrictive costume rules from the Water Department's own Halloween celebration. Zara's new friends and family get to spend some quality time in the limelight,
Zinnia has a storyline that includes flashbacks throughout the book. I cannot get into details without spoiling important plot points - but this story was more somber and heartbreaking than anything we've seen in Wisteria so far.
If I had one complaint it would just be how large the mood swings can be from switching between Zinnia's darkest moments and the fun of getting to see Zara trying hot yoga. Emotions are high and things get real. Things get messy and the whys and wherefores are doled out in pieces, so you are kept guessing what the full plot of the book is until nearly the end of the novel. Angela Pepper does not rest on her laurels just because this is the 11th book in a successful series. She really challenges herself as an author and tries a structure we haven't seen before. If she does no hit a home run, she doesn't strike out either. How many bases she rounds in up to your personal taste and experience. Consider yourself warned.
As the cast grows, I continue to be amazed at Tiffany William's narration and her ability to give everyone a unique voice, switching back and forth in scenes with varied characters present in combinations we haven't seen before. She is a vocal chameleon that can bring any character or fantastic being to life - even if they're undead.
This book was still entertaining and any stay in Wisteria is always welcome but if you wanted just more of the same - then you will get more than you bargained for,

Still a wonderful series
Another great book in this series, fun and entertaining, but with an underlying theme on family bonds and family love.
I truly enjoyed it, although I miss Zoey. She's not having a lot of 'screen-time' in this one, and I really miss her interactions with Zara and Zinnia.
And Zinnia! Shees! Her background story is so sad... and we know now why she has such a florid wallpaper. I loved the way in which Zara fought for her. And how she was willing to, literally, give a piece of her soul, to protect her daughter's happiness.
Because, at the end, this is what this book was about: family, and the things we are willing to do to protect it.
As always, Tiffany Williams did an awesome job with the narration.
