Summary

Do They Know It's Christmas Yet?, Book 3 is here! And it starts right after the end of Did They Steal a Million Yet? How long can Tash tolerate 1984? And how about 1985...in another country?

The reluctant time travelers are spending one final Christmas together—although only one of them knows it. So, why the hell can’t that be straightforward, either? And do Raymond and Maureen need to be part of every single thing?

Could you play cupid to your brother or sister? And how long would you throw at it? Thirty-four years?

Grab your passport, this is going to take some time....

James Crookes has been writing comedy for TV and radio for more than 20 years. He has contributed to shows on BBC One, CBBC, and CBeebies, along with producing and co-presenting the Bauer Radio breakfast show Big John @ Breakfast since 2004.

Wish You Were Here Yet? is his third novel.

You probably know by now, but just a reminder that Tash has a bit of a habit to swear from time to time.

Phenomenal

Absolutely fantastic. A thoroughly enjoyable second sequel to the brilliant original. Listening to this on my daily commute I would wait in my van when I had arrived at my destination and continue listening. I was so saddened when it ended as I wonder what on earth am I going to listen to now?

The characters are wonderfully written and James’ narration is perfect.

While this book rounds off the whole narrative it has left it open for another few books perhaps?

what an ending

An amazing ending to an enjoyable trilogy.
Well written and relatable characters make the story such fun and I could never imagine them with any other voiced.

I LOVE THESE BOOKS SO MUCH!!!

*Storyline- 5 stars
*Nostalgia (for us gen X'ers) 5 stars
*funny- grab the tena pads & try not to fall off the couch!!

These books are absolutely fantastic! The characters are all relatable, lovable, & so brilliantly written.

As an autistic/adhd mum of 3 neuro- divergent children, two of whom are also dyspraxic, Jamie's character was just so incredibly portrayed. He had us crying with laughter & pointing at each other with his filter free 'say it as it is' talking, his mishaps, & we cannot miss out the infamous 'autistic hugs'! As for the many spillages- well, we all now have non spill water bottles & always grab a handful of napkins when going to a cafe! So very relatable & so incredibly funny!

He was just brilliant, & how refreshing to read/listen/watch something that treated his diversity in such a 'normal' way, yet showing his/our little 'oddities' for want of a better word, in a kind, understandable, & informative fashion & at the same time being able to laugh along at his mishaps, his literalness, his accidents & the trouble that this could get him both into, & out of- but laughing in an inclusive way, not "what a weirdo" way.

Tash is a typical frustrated but adoring big sister- we LOVE her!

Raymond & Maureen are SO relatable to an auntie & uncle or suchlike that we all have.
Poor Raymond! He does try!

The only bad thing I have to say is our swear jar is dwindling as it has been impossible not to pick up on Tash's SSSSSSAKE!!!!!

BOOK FOUR PLEASE JAMES! SOOOOOOOON!!!!!!!!
