About this listen
Are your thoughts out of control - just like your life? Do you long to break free from the spiral of destructive thinking? Let God's truth become your battle plan to win the war in your mind!
We've all tried to think our way out of bad habits and unhealthy thought patterns, only to find ourselves stuck with an out-of-control mind and off-track daily life. Pastor and New York Times best-selling author Craig Groeschel understands deeply this daily battle against self-doubt and negative thinking, and in this powerful new book, he reveals the strategies he's discovered to change your mind and your life for the long-term.
Drawing upon Scripture and the latest findings of brain science, Groeschel lays out practical strategies that will free you from the grip of harmful, destructive thinking and enable you to live the life of joy and peace that God intends you to live. Winning the War in Your Mind will help you:
- Learn how your brain works and see how to rewire it
- Identify the lies your enemy wants you to believe
- Recognize and short-circuit your mental triggers for destructive thinking
- See how prayer and praise will transform your mind
- Develop practices that allow God's thoughts to become your thoughts
God has something better for your life than your old ways of thinking. It's time to change your mind so God can change your life.

Encouraging, honest and useful
I found Craig’s book to be so encouraging. I love this book. I can see some changes already in myself from implementing Craig’s steps. His great narration with some humour in parts gives a really enjoyable experience. I’m very grateful to Craig for this book.

Honest and helpful
Craig reads this himself, and you can hear his passion and genuineness throughout. It is full of both practical and inspiring content. I will listen to it again as an encouragement and resource for teaching others.

A great listen. Can be life changing if you let it
I listened through it the once so far. Craig is excellent at clearly bringing the message across. He is down to earth, realistic and entertaining. he also brings God's word straight to your heart.
I will now listen a second time, but go through the PDF with round two. I think there's loads more for me to learn here.
Thank you Craig

God’s timing is always perfect.
Listening to this during times when I feel overwhelmed and anxious is enormously helpful in overcoming my anxiety. Yes, we cannot control what will happen to us, but we can control how we frame it.

Passionate advocacy for positive thinking
As a teacher that has an interest in brain development, this book said little that I hadn’t heard already. However, the religious slant is refreshing and engaging.
I found it tricky to engage with the exercises after each chapter as I was keen to move on and see what else was to come. That said, there is plenty to reflect on in this text and I am sure a second listen would be worthwhile.
Good narrator, great teaching and well worth a listen.

Solid combination
Over the last year I have read and listened to a multitude of books on the subject of transformation and neusroplasticity. From the psychological perspective to the Christian/Biblical perspective. All of them have been great but this book dovetails both important subjects together with a harmony that is attainable and doable. This is the type of book that one can go over again in 6 months time. Plus, the pdf that goes with it helps put everything together, and can be revisited in the future to show the dynamic of change that should take place. Don't miss out, this book is well worth it!
