just a little dog poop.....the concept that a little bad stuff in brownies spoils the entire brownie batch

If you are wondering why you are feeling neglected by God, this is a great book for you. It reminds you that, God never forsakes you. You just tune God out.

What a amazing book! His book it's for those people that wants to do and start a new life clean and free from guilt, frustration, stress, anger, depression etc it just covers it all.

I love the way he preaches, personally. I enjoy the emphasis on certain subjects that he felt were important. I agreed that they were important as well.

Amazing

I've been having inner struggles and I was feeling my interior wasn't matching my exterior. not by a long shot. I'm a new Christian. This book spoke to me and God was very present with me today. I highly RECOMMEND this to anyone who has been struggling with influences that tend to sway you away from God, cloud your judgment, or put a dog over your clarity. Godspeed and amen.

A worth while read for any Christian

This book take an honest look at the affect the world and culture around us plays on our lives and walk with God. It encourages you, the reader, to assess your own life by giving you a healthy framework to think and pray through. It does not give you a list do's and don'ts. My only negative point is I think Craig does a better job speaking live than he does reading a book. However, it isn't distracting and the content is worth the read.

great listen on the go

What made the experience of listening to Soul Detox the most enjoyable?

Pastor Groechel has taught my church before. I enjoyed the fact that I was listening to someone I felt as if I knew them already. He uses practical examples to help you relate to his message. I laughed a bit.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

When the pastor gets to the meat of his message, I had Aha! Moments. Great message overall. Although I was expecting from the title for the book to be a calculation of some preachey formula to do a,b, and you'll get c;,I was pleasently surprised this wasn't the case for this book.

Have you listened to any of Craig Groeschel’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes! It exceeded my expectations.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

All of the content. There are.times that i needed to repent of some things the holy spirit made me aware of.

This book was balanced and informative

What did you love best about Soul Detox?

This book was super focused on healing your soul. The author presented the information in a very understandable way and was extremely biblically based. I found the information very useful and right on target for healing and purifying your soul.

What about Craig Groeschel’s performance did you like?

Craig was easy to listen to and was passionate about the subject.

Yes. This book gives encouragement and direction.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Craig Groeschel?

The narrator tends to smack his lips between words - which is annoying. However, he does well otherwise.

I would love a Soul Detox App with the game on it! Truth or Trash! Maybe rewards for giving affirmations, like symbolic points. Keeping a log of affirmations! Setting up daily affirmations for each family member or important person.
