Story
From a very young age, Chloe Pierce was trained to look after the ones she loved. And she was trained by the best. But when the man who looked after her was no longer there, Chloe is cast adrift - just as the very foundation of her life crumbled to pieces. Then she runs into tall, lanky, unpretentious Judge Oakley, her exact opposite. She shops. He hikes. She drinks pink ladies. He drinks beer. She’s a city girl. He’s a mountain guy. Obviously, this means they have a blowout fight upon meeting. Their second encounter doesn’t go a lot better.

Cora Goode has woken up in a fairytale world where she can understand what birds are saying to her, men ride horses and have fluffy feathers in their hats, and furniture zigs, zags, and whirls in miracles of construction. The problem is, she thinks she's in a dream, but she's actually taken the place of the parallel-universe Cora and, without realizing it, our Cora does something that starts a centuries-old curse that will sweep the land if she gets captured by the evil Minerva.

I rarely have to force myself to listen to the end

Summary
Abel Jin and Delilah Johnson have lived their lives with holes in their souls, yearning for something they don't understand. Until one night Delilah is in mortal danger, and a man who's otherworldly strong and supernaturally fast saves her. Delilah is then cast into a world where fiction comes to life in the form of Abel, her destined mate, a vampire/werewolf hybrid who claims her at first breath as his. But Abel knows the danger isn't done. He's dreamed for centuries that his mate will perish, and he will stop at nothing to keep her safe.
For Delilah, she's coping not only with a fantasy come to life but also with a mingling of very different families. Not to mention she has on her hands a man who doesn't understand his true nature and has lived his long life thinking he's a monster. Abel and Delilah together fill the hole that has been clawing at them for decades. But, finally finding each other, it also tips their destinies as the last of The Three. They must unite with the other destined lovers, who, with Abel and Delilah, are fated to save the world. Or die trying.

Totally spoiled by narrator
The conclusion to this trilogy was average at best. KA’s characters are usually really fleshed out, but you don’t get that in this book. This book feels rushed compared to conclusions in her other series. The ending feels abrupt; there was so much more potential there.
I guess I should be grateful, as at least it reduced the amount of time I had to contend with listening to this narrator. She has a very grating habit of loudly sucking in breath after each sentence. The more off putting sounds however are the narrator’s regular swallowing and saliva-clearing noises. I can’t believe these noises weren’t edited out!
I normally keep coming back to KA’s books, but I won’t be able to do so with this one. I persevered to the end to see how it finished, but there’s no way I can cope with listening to this narrator ever again.

Loved it!
The story was great. My only complaint is that we didn't get to see more of Caine and his mate or follow other characters to their romantic conclusion. I will forgive, however, soley on the basis of Yuri's story alone! Well read with the right amount of growley tones, sass and accents. One of my favourite reads. well done!

Nasty, Raunchy
I did not like the raunchy sex scenes between Abel and Delilah. More "F" words than a Steven King novel that could be titled F@#*. Too over the top for me. I fast forwarded through much of the book to get the the story line completion of the first two books. With that said, the conclusion was not very gratifying. That could be a result of my less than thrilled attitude about the "biker bitch " story line.

Brilliant and unforgettable!
My biggest complaint about this series; there are only three.
Kristen Ashley writes the best romances I've ever read. They're filled with humor, sass, depth of feeling and meaning that will make you laugh and cry, adventure, mayhem, and most of all, leave you wishing it wasn't over yet.
This series has all of that, along with vampires and werewolves far better than any other fiction. Take a chance. You'll be glad you did as you listen again and again.

I stuck with this series and I'm glad
So I had a very hard time reading this series the first two books were too Alpha male or dominant/submissive.
I enjoy books where women understand and know themselves their strong but they're caring. I didn't get this from the first two books but I still enjoyed them.
This book was amazing I could see it being a made-for-TV movie it was exciting it was heartfelt I loved both Delilah and Able. I must admit that I do kind of enjoy the whole Armageddon doing doomsday storyline. With a good winning out in the end.
This last book made the first two in the series worth listening to.

enjoyable but painful
it was cheesetastic. it was entertaining and I couldn't stop listening, but there were certain cringe worthy moments like when the main love interests kept repeating the title of the book in 1000 ways.... they were wild and free, they were wild but not free, they were wild and at last free .... oh god please stop with that. but overall I quite liked the story and the sex scenes were good.

This was a satisfying end to the series. A lot of loose ends were tied up and interesting new characters introduced. I only have one major issue with the story.... Yuri should have gotten his own story; at least a novella. I wanted more of him and Aurora.

After anticipating the outcome of this completely captivating series Delilah and Abel did not disappoint. This is one wild action packed adventure. I'm not disappointed with my decision to part with a credit. The dream team of narrator's did a phenomenal job!! Yikes>>>>>>>
What did you love best about Wild and Free?
That the story picked up well from the previous book.
What did you like best about this story?
Keep me up to well after midnight each night, had to know what was headed their way!
What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Keeps me riveted and did an excellent job of the various voices.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Didn't laugh or cry but did chuckle and smile from ear to ear a lot.
Any additional comments?
Unfortunately, K.A. Kept to her typical trail. By the 3rd book she always makes the sex scenes way, way to vivid and exsplict! I'm all about a good vision, but when every single time the word "c*nt*, f*ck, etc. is way over the top! Too bad as the story was intriguing but skipped through much of the book for the above mentioned. F bombs here and there are fine, but not its as if she just discovered the word and is 10 years old. Sorry>>>>>

Main Character Narrator disappointing
Where does Wild and Free rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Have enjoyed the series. Some of the narrating in this book was not so good. Abel was made to sound like a teenage boy, and occasionally I felt like the narrator lived above a night club. There is an undercurrent of noise like muffled loud music that got distracting at times. I've heard worse, but the first two were narrated so well I'd gotten accustomed to really good narrating in this series. Worth the listen just know the preformance isn't the same.
Would you listen to another book narrated by the narrators?
Abby Craden and Stella Bloom for sure.
