Summary

What would you do in a worldwide food shortage? Do you want to learn how to source organic-free food whilst enjoying time with friends and family? If you want to learn the number one most underrated survival skill, then keep listening….

We've all heard horror stories about foragers picking the wrong leaf and it ultimately leading them to their demise. It's understandable that so many people are apprehensive about foraging. From a young age, our curiosity would have been abruptly interrupted by the terrifying screech from our parents “Don't touch that plant!”

I mean, that was still great advice from your parents however, this also meant that you missed out on all of the amazing possibilities forging offers. Most parents just don't have the knowledge to educate their children, and instead instill us with the same doubts and fears that they have.

Going out alone with the intention of finding something to eat in the wild is no simple endeavor, and even just knowing where to start can be a challenge for many.

In this book, you will discover:

  • Why it doesn't matter if you are a complete beginner
  • The most important steps you can take to forage safely
  • A simple 3-step method you can use today for correct identification
  • A little-known weed that is more nutritious than broccoli, spinach, and kale put together
  • A nutritional powerhouse that you can find all year round
  • Over 40 wild food recipes that taste great
  • Why so many foragers are talking about this one mushroom you never knew you could eat

You can get started today even if you are a complete beginner and will learn a lot even if you're an experienced forager too. Just add to the cart a let's get going.

Why forage though? Why not just go to the supermarket? Foraging can be a hobby to share with friends, family, and pets. It's free to do and it reduces stress. Foraging not only connects you with nature but also provides a level of self-sufficiency parallel to none.

The biggest reason to learn this incredible skill though is this…

You will always be able to feed yourself and your family even if you have no money. You can literally walk outside right now, find some plants and transplant-free food in your own garden to grow and eat later.

Wild plants are organic and “Non-GMO”. They are rich in nutrients and pesticide free. Who doesn't want free organic food to save on grocery bills? Some other benefits of foraging are

  • You can do it anywhere
  • Its healthy exercise
  • It's a fun outdoor activity
  • Foraging encourages natural mindfulness
  • You can also make money doing it by selling delicacies to local restaurants
  • Wild foods often come with healing benefits too

Take action today! If you want to learn how to forage safely and become completely self-sufficient then scroll right back up and click add to cart today!

Wild and strong

I absolutely LOVED this book. Narrated by someone with a voice not unlike that of Sir David Attenborough, I instantly fell under the spell of this wonderful guide to living off what the land has to offer. Obviously, it takes some knowledge and preparation to undertake such a quest and become comfortable foraging. Successfully deciphering various plants and ensuring we pick and prepare food using the right plants (my main concern being poisonous and harmful ones) can be daunting, but this book certainly makes it simple. This unique cookbook (more of a foraging guide) is easy to navigate as each chapter has a specific plant focus. I thoroughly enjoyed this listen and can only highly recommend.

Great Resource!

This is such an engaging and informative audiobook! I learned plenty about wild superfoods and how to identify them. In a cookbook like this you'll learn tasty recipes as well as the basics of wild superfoods, Roger (the author) also explains what wild foods to avoid and which ones are the tastiest. You'll learn a lot about how nature works and how these foods come to be. Do yourself a favor and get this audiobook, especially if you want to experience new adventures AND flavors!

Never go hungry again!

Great book full of brand new info to me, I wasn’t aware of. I’m somewhat of a novice forager but have around 3 years experience. I found this book on foraging my personal favourite so far as the author done an excellent job of detailing many nuances around ramsons for example, and how not to confuse them with lillies.

Ramson was my favourite chapter personally as I find them quite elusive when our searching! Great tips!

very informative

My wife introduced this book to me, and it has since then opened my eyes to a whole new world of cooking. I enjoy cooking all over again, and I am discovering new things as I go along, and also identifying nutritious edible wild plants has been the best part of the whole experience for me.

A great book full of great advice and tips

Foraging and living off the wild is an area I've always been interested in and this book certainly didn't let me down. The advice and knowledge contained inside it is incredible. I particularly liked the chapter on nettles, given there are plenty growing around where I live. The nutritional value and health benefits of it are outstanding. Now that I know when, where and how to properly harvest and process it, I'll definitely be adding nettles to my stock in the next few months once it starts growing.

The book is really well narrated, especially with the wildlife background noises. It makes you feel that you're out there walking through the great outdoors with the great Sir David Attenborough, passing on his knowledge and experience to you.

Even if foraging is not your thing, this book is full of great information that you'll find interesting and someday you might be strolling through the countryside or park and come across a plant and instantly be able to identify it and know all about its nutritional and medicinal properties, as well as how to forage it.

I highly recommend this book.
