Awesome guide for sustainable living
The book covers a wide range of edible plants, from common ones like dandelion and wild strawberry to lesser-known ones like chickweed and cattail. What's great about this book is that it includes clear and detailed descriptions of each plant, as well as tips on how to prepare them for eating.
As a power vegan, you'll love the emphasis on sustainability and environmentally-friendly practices in this audiobook. The author stresses the importance of only taking what you need from the wild and leaving the rest for wildlife and future foragers.
The narration is engaging and upbeat, making it a fun listen for anyone interested in foraging. Whether you're an experienced forager or just starting out, this book is a great resource for anyone looking to connect with nature and eat more sustainably.

The Perfect Beginner Guide
Discover the perfect guide for beginner foragers. The author's descriptive language, even in an audio format, allows you to truly visualize the plants she mentions. With the abundant free resources provided in the audiobook, you can confidently identify and explore these plants. As the author suggests, cross-referencing and further reading are advisable before picking and consuming wild plants. However, after just one book, you'll feel more aware during your nature walks, noticing and understanding the plants you encounter. This book opens your eyes to new possibilities and enriches your time spent in nature. Highly recommended!

Highly Recommend
What a great audiobook. I't's so well written and narrated. Very easy to follow and understand. The author has given you so much great information. She gives you the botanical names and the common names of each plant. Describes what each one looks like and what their health benfits are. How to forage them, what are the best seasons for each, where to find them, how to clean them and how to store them. I have learned so much from this audiobook like did you know that if you're pregnant or on blood thinners you can't eat Cattails. I love the PDF that you can download and print so you can use as a reference plus 3 other gifts that comes with it. Can't wait to start my foraging journey. Highly recommend for anyone that wants to live a healthier life and save money doing it.

Great Book.
The narrator, Naomi, brings the book to life with a pleasant and enthusiastic reading style.
Also, you really get your money’s worth when you purchase this audiobook, because there are four free bonuses included! You get access to the PDF version of the book, with detailed botanical sketches and color photos. A list of foraging books is provided for further research and a list of Facebook groups focused on edible wild plants and sustainable living. And my favorite bonus - a printable Forager’s Field Notes and Photo guide that I can take with me on foraging expeditions instead of filling my backpack with ID books.
If you are ready to start foraging or learn more about edible wild plants, get this book and start listening!

Educational, I've learned a lot
This audiobook is a fantastic guide to foraging of edible wild plants. I've learned a lot of things about edible and healthy plants that aren't even always specific to a region either, so I feel people would benefit from this book regardless of where they live. Most importantly, the tips to stay safe while foraging were super useful as well! All in all just in time for the start of the season. Great book!

THE GOLD STANDARD FOR FORAGING!
This wonderful audiobook was gifted to me by a friend, and it’s one of the best gifts I’ve received in a long time! As my wife and I shop and see the empty shelves, soaring prices and lack of variety, the idea of foraging has been something we’ve discussed. With this book, we can now begin our journey with real knowledge. Everything is described clearly, along with methods of not only harvesting plants in a sustainable way, but preparing them, the best seasons to find particular species, look-alike plants to be avoided and much, much more. The accompanying PDF provides all the images you could want for positive identification and safe foraging. The narrator does a smooth and engaging job of delivering the information and this will be an audiobook to which we’ll refer time and again. Highly recommended!

best hiking mate
it's quite a few months ago when i first read this book. it's actually very interesting, this book turned into my hiking mate. whenever i go deep into the woods, this is the only book i must carry. it adds a lot more fun for the road. although i read it many times already, sometimes i still could get the plants wrong. some are easier to find, and there are a couple of them i still haven't seen yet.

Incredible Resource
Lewis has created an excellent resource for beginner foragers. Even as an Audible her descriptive language enabled me to truly vision the plants she was referring to and after looking over all the free resources that are included in the audiobook I was spot on. Like the author says, I’ll cross reference and maybe read another one before actually picking and eating my wild plants. But just after this one book I feel so much more aware during my nature walks about the plants I see. It’s opened my eyes to a whole new realm of possibilities and has enriched my time with my kids too. Seeing them with their baskets asking if they can pick those or not. Highly recommend this book!
