Summary

Zara Riddle moved to Wisteria for a quiet, simple, safe life. Instead, she got ghosts, demon birds, shifters, and even gorgons. Yes, gorgons, the snake-haired ladies you don't want to cross. Luckily for Zara, her family tree is riddled with witchcraft. She may be a late bloomer, but this witch is crafty!

When mysterious forces erase words from the town's books, Zara conjures a magical creature to restore the text. But magic has a mind of its own, and magical creatures love trouble. Pretty soon, the bodies start piling up.

Now Zara must face whoever (or whatever) is behind a dark plot to destroy everything she loves. This time the fight will be tougher than ever. After all, it's hard to battle the forces of evil when you're dead.

So much fun

This series is so much fun. I love Zara and her whacky sense of humour. I love the relationship between her and Zoe. Not only is the story brilliant fun, but the narration is excellent and lifts it to a whole new level of entertainment. Highly recommended!

Hilarious

Zara is hilarious in this second installment of the Wisteria Witches series. She’s still learning the ins and outs of becoming a witch under the sharp eye of her Aunt Zinnia while working on unraveling the mysteries surrounding the supernatural inhabitants of her new town. A seemingly tiny event—words disappearing from printed pages—-launches Zara into an investigation that quickly becomes complicated by a ghost and builds out into a one of the craziest must-read conclusions yet. Definitely recommended! I’m still loving this narrator. She’s perfect for Zara and the production quality is excellent. I can’t wait for the next book to come out on Audible.

I liked this funny but quirky story of learning to be a witch in a magical town. Very imaginative and witty. Tiffany Williams was a fantastic narrator and I thoroughly enjoyed her ease of switching between the characters voices. Good read!

Great Series!

Wicked Wisteria is a standalone listen by Angela Pepper and a continuation of the series by the author. I love the vivid imagery she writes in the story along with the humor. Mystery, magic and unpredictable events are part of this book too. I so enjoyed how this story was entirely original, and it kept me entertained and guessing the whole book. Tiffany Williams performed the book flawlessly! I love her narration style with distinguishable voices for the various character. Truly well done! I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator. Without giving away spoilers, the ending is great!

Being a new witch isn't easy

Zara recently discovered she is a witch. Not just any witch, a spirit charmed one. Ink is disappearing from books. She overhears a conversation about an machine that erases things. Her aunt Zinnia makes a bookworm dough that smelled so good that she puts her tongue to it with disastrous results. Her aunt binds her powers for misuse of magic at a time when she really needs it.

Will Zara be able to stop the machine from erasing people without magic?

The book is funny. Zara has a sharp-tongued whit that is amusing. She really should listen to other people and she might not find herself in mystical trouble as often.

I received this book from the author to listen to and this is my truthful review.

Love this series!!!!

Zara gets up to more trouble in this one. She tangles with a ghost, who isnt a ghost, meddles in business not her own; such as words randomly disappearing from books, cards, and magazines, snooping and following the townsfolk while still tries to deal with her aunt, her daughter and her heartthrob, yet dry, hunk of a neighbor. She also eats stuff she should’nt cuz why not?I love her quick wit and sarcasm and cannot wait for the next book! The narration is also fabulous! I received a free review copy of this book at my request and have voluntarily left this review! Thank you!

I think it is her best book so far! Loved it!

Wicked Wisteria
Wisteria Witches Mysteries, Book 2
By: Angela Pepper
Narrated by: Tiffany Williams
This is a book I requested and the review is voluntary.
I love her books anyway but this series is the best! It is full of humor, snark, mysteries, magic, great dialogue, great characters, unpredictable scenes of chaos, and I was never bored! These books are a hoot! Absolutely crazy in a good way!
The narration complements the book by making the the snark just right, pulls off the humor flawlessly, and is wonderful keeping the voices different for the listener. Wonderful job! I enjoy each of these books!
I wish I could find a town to live in like this one in the book, everyone eats but no one gains weight!

Hilarious and scary

I love the Riddle witches, all of them; but I find Zara terribly endearing. She can be a little bit irresponsible, but she also is caring and funny and courageous.

I 'read' this one in audiobook format, and there were moments I was laughing out loud while walking to and from work. Seriously, the story IS scary and truly nail-biting at times, particularly in the last third, but Zara is hysterically funny, so you can't help, at least, giggle along :P

I simply loved it.

Great Series

I absolutely love this witch. The narrator brings her to life and makes this a wonderful listen. She is funny, just a bit off plumb and the kind of character that I would totally want to hang out with.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Good Read

Wicked Wisteria (Wisteria Witches #2) was a good read by Angela Pepper. Strange things seem to be happening in Wisteria. It seems like the words keep disappearing from the pages of books. Zara Riddle is a witch and a librarian who wants to find out who stole the words with the help of her witch aunt. Zara finds herself deep in mystical trouble. Chet charges in to save the day but it's a trap. I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by the author.
