About this listen
A second chance by the sea?
When Kiki Jackson's marriage falls to pieces, there's only one place that she knows she can escape to - her sister's little guesthouse in Butterfly Cove.
But she's worried that turning up on bride-to-be Mia's doorstep, especially with her two adorable children in tow, will spoil her sister's imminent wedding plans!
Luckily, handsome neighbour Aaron Spenser offers to share his new cottage with Kiki until she's back on her feet. And as the wedding draws closer, Kiki realises that Butterfly Cove may be offering her little family more than just a new home....
Maybe this is where her new life begins?
An uplifting and heartwarming listen, perfect for fans of Trisha Ashley, Rachael Lucas and Hilary Boyd.

*Daring to Hope*
**4.5 Stars**
This is book 2 of 3 in the Butterfly Cove series. It is definitely worth reading this series in order as it is based on 3 sisters. There are references about them all and Mia the eldest from book one who started everything by moving to Butterfly Cove.
This instalment features Kiki Jackson the middle sister. Her marriage to the most atrocious man who bullied her and under the guise of the perfect man he wooed her and once drawn in she realised too late what he was like. His true intention was to get close to her father and eventually have his job. They have 2 children a son Matty and a daughter Charlie. The poor children walked on eggshells just as much as Kiki as he had really done a number on her making her feel worthless. She wants to leave him but drags her feet as much as Mia had encouraged her to leave she resisted until one day after happening upon incriminating emails and with him on a business trip she whisks herself to Butterfly Cove.
Her bravery takes a slight dip because she has not spoken to Mia ahead of time but a certain young man Aaron and best friend Daniel Mia’s intended took the plunge recently and brought a cottage offers her the use with the children.
Both Kiki and Aaron have broken spirits for different reasons. Kiki is dreading the repercussions when her ex husband to be returns home. Aaron has different issues.
The support that Kiki receives when she starts to work on herself and seeing how her children who crept around on eggshells come out of their shells and interact with Aaron is a thing of beauty. There is a scene where the children worry when Aaron has to go to London for a couple of days and he tenderly speaks to them it made me cry. There is a bit towards the end where Aaron has to make a speech well that broke my heart.
This book touched my heart, there were tears, drama plus lots of laughs all set in the beautiful setting of Butterfly Cove.
