Waste of time

Dreadful writing. Extremely basic. I’m annoyed that I wasted a credit on it.
Nice idea.

Pretty good even with a few maddening flaws.

I won't spoil anything in this. The book definitely gets better as it progresses. early on there was a couple of maddening plot holes but the story gets pretty riveting as it goes. There was a connection that was maddening to me that the character never put together that has me wondering if the writer made a unintentional clue. I would liken it to the "As time goes by" series. i had a hard time getting into that story then rapid fire consumed the rest of the series. I think the narrator did an excellent job I look forward to more audiobooks with the same narrator. I will definitely by listening to the next book in the series. I especially want to know if the connection that is bugging me that the main character failed to pick up on gets explored. If so that will be some great foreshadowing.

I picked up the next book in this series and now there is something in it that is driving me even more insane. And I feel like the author needs to come back and edit this first book because there is such a maddening continuity error that its driving me up the wall.

Good story, although I found the narrator a little annoying

The narrators voice is a little annoying, but it was a great story. Thank you.

Easy to listen to and keep up with

Very good for a first book in a series. different from what I'm used to reading, and I liked that. Few characters, so not hard to keep track of a bunch of people and try to remember who's who. Loved the narrator. Kept my attention. Looking forward to the second book.

Great story, terrible narration

Ok, so this is a follow up review. I actually like the twist and have committed to reading the series. This being said the nasal and monotone nature if the narrator really kills it. If it's the same guy throughout the series, well.....I guess I'll have to soldier through.
