About this listen
A runaway bride looking to outrun scandal finds refuge—and her voice—in a small town.
Dragonfly Lake is the perfect place to hide while I find myself after years of being told who to be and who to love. The whole world has an opinion, and this once, I need to drown it all out before I lose myself completely.
Seth Henry is the dreamy boy-next-door kind of guy whom slow-dancing songs are written about. I should know—I’m supposed to be the Sweetheart of Country Music. But my dramatic rise to the top culminated in me leaving my fan-favorite fiancé at the altar, making me public enemy number one.
I’m not looking for love, but I can’t resist Seth’s affection. He shelters me from the media storm that has become my life. The closer we get, the more his quiet compassion steals my heart in a way I never knew was possible. But his heart isn’t up for grabs.
Because the irresistible guy helping me heal is harboring secrets of his own. And the last thing he needs is me leading the press right to his front porch. Will the man who gave me back my voice be the one to break my heart for good?
Unsung is the second stand-alone book in the Henry Brothers series.

Great Story & Narration🎧Captivating & Heartwarming
It is great to be back in Dragonfly Lake for another wonderful Henry Brother’s novel, a small town, runaway bride contemporary romance novel. I enjoyed Amy Knupp’s writing style and her unique spin on the runaway bride trope. The story grabbed my attention immediately and held it the entire time. Everly is a country music star who left her fiancé and singing partner at the alter the day of their wedding. Her friend helped her get away and booked her for a short term rental in Dragonfly Lake to hide from the press and public scrutiny until things calmed down. She gets into town and her new apartment without any one recognizing her. Seth Henry’s newly renovated rental has its first tenant, and he senses something is off with her, even more so when he sees what is in her bag. And while he did not who she was, he searched online and found out exactly who she was, despite her giving a bogus name. He lets her know he is aware of who she is and promises to keep that information to himself because he knows what it is like to get slammed by the press. Everly is taking the time for herself to reevaluation her life and she starts to enjoy her visits with Seth and looks forward to them. The chemistry between them is electric and they can only deny each other for so long before giving into it. He knows there is a time limit on it and they agree to keep it casual because when her month is up she will go back to her music and life in the public spotlight, and he will stay where he belongs in Dragonfly Lake. This charming and heartwarming story is wonderfully plotted with the perfect balance of drama, a touch of humor, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. I am loving this series, the characters and the world it is set it. Amy Knupp, thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧And for the fantastic narration, Stacy Gonzalez and Tim Paige did an amazing job bringing these characters to life, giving each their own voice, humanizing them with all their emotions and had you feeling every one of them. Their portrayal of the character was spot on and they were believable in every role they played. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

Seth & Everly
Seth and Everly were the cutest couple. I loved their story, their strength, their love.
These two characters lived in a bubble of happiness for a little while but have taken so much strength from each other. The writing and narration was so good I sometimes felt like I was living all the moments with them.

I liked this runaway bride romance!
This is the second book in The Henry Brothers series, a small town romance. I liked this runaway bride romance. Seth and Everly's story is sweet, and heartwarming. Seth is very handsome, and supportive. Evely, a runaway bride and the sweetheart of Country Music, is beautiful, smart, and determined. They are opposites attract, and perfect together. The supporting characters are amazing. I like the Henry family! Tim Paige and Stacy Gonzalez did a good job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Undone, the next book in the series.

This book was a joy to listen to
4.5
This book was such a joy to listen to. It felt like a warm blanket on a cold day, wrapping me up in all the goodness and giving me a toasty hug.
The characters were fun and entertaining. I loved the communication between Seth and Everly and how they went after what they wanted and supported each other. The side characters were engaging and made you want to know more about them and their stories…those told and those that hopefully will be coming in the future.
This was my first Amy Knupp book but it will not be my last.
Tim Paige and Stacy Gonzalez were enjoyable to listen to with this story. The only down point for me was that some of the female side characters (in Stacy’s chapters) sounded a little whiny and it was a bit tough to know if they we’re supposed to be likeable. That aside, I enjoyed the main characters and would listen to this book again. This was my first Stacy book, and I would listen to her again.

Love the runaway bride!
The runaway bride. I love that story, as there is always a good reason as to why she fled. Everly was almost there, she almost made the biggest mistake of her life. If her best friend had not said anything, it would have been over! Now she is hidden in an apartment in Dragonfly Lake. Seth is the landlord, and as he continues the renovation of his house, he has created this safe space where Everly can live. But what will she do now? She is the Sweetheart of country music, and everyone is angry that she left Trey, another popular singer at the alter. She doesn't want the papparrazi hanging around as she figures out her life. Luckily, Dragonfly Lake is the small town that has no secrets, but does not let any passed their borders. She is hidden for now, and Seth is helping her adjust. He too has issues with commitment and the two have formed a bond. Will it grow? Amy Knupp captivated me with this wonderful love story. It's about realizing what life is about, what to do to make you happy and finding comfort in that. It's about keeping your heart open, understanding that it's not you who has to make everyone else happy and to fight for what you want. I loved this book, enjoying getting to know the Henry brothers and cannot wait to hear the next in the series.
Tim Paige and Stacy Gonzalez bring this gem to life. Paige knows how to delve into the heart of his characters and give them that feel like I have known him all my life. He pulls out the emotions and keeps Seth real. Gonzalez is amazing at finding her way into the feelings of her narrations and as Everly, she has a lot to get through. Each one she works through is felt right in the heart. These two are perfectly cast and have a heartwarming performance.

Runaway Bride & a Protective Rental Landlord? Sign Me Up!
When country music star Everly Ash finds herself with cold feet moments before her impending wedding, she needs a low key place to hide and keep a low profile until the media storm dies down. She finds refuge in Dragonfly Lake. There she meets Seth Henry, her new landlord and neighbour whilst she weathers the media storm. Business manager Seth is surprised to have an offer put in on his newly renovated garage apartment. Once he find out who his tenant is, he quickly agrees to help her and to help keep her secret.
Unsung is the second book in the Henry Brother’s series by Amy Knupp. After reading and really enjoying the first book, I was looking forward to reading this book and it definitely did not disappoint. This book was the perfect, cute small town romance I was craving at the time. Everly and Seth were so different, yet complimented each other. Pure perfection! The small-town setting was also soo charming. I especially loved how supportive, helpful, and loving Seth was towards Everly. It was also so great seeing Everly finally come into her own and discover herself both in her personal life, as well as professionally, after growing up being constantly told what to do and not having much say in either of these areas. I also loved how warm and welcoming the people of Dragonfly Lake were to Everly. The accepted her and also protected her.
Overall, this was humorous, charming, steamy, heartfelt. And, it drew me in from page one!
The narration done by Tim Page and Stacy Gonzalez was great to listen to. They were both fantastic at capturing the personalities of Seth and Everly respectively.

Small town, celebrity in hiding, stand alone
Unsung is the second book in the Henry Brothers series and I liked it even more than the first. The characters were great, and the close-knit community of the small town was featured more-so than in the previous book in the series. In general like both celebrity in hiding and small town books, so I really liked the combination of them in Unsung.
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Tim Paige and Stacey Gonzalez. I wouldn’t hesitate to listen to both of them again.
I received a copy of the book at my request, and the opinions here are my own.
