Summary
Dr. Grace Kendal never stands a chance. The injured woman comes out of nowhere, bleeding heavily and holding a gun. Compelled to help her, Grace is dragged into Elin Breckenridge’s nightmare. Their fight to survive will take them across the country and to the limits of their endurance. But who is Elin running from? Superb
Brilliant,great , fabulous , fantastic,oh how I love a cracking book even better on Audible by the phenomenon Cari Hunter and Nicola Victor Vincent .If you have read or listened to any of her book's this one will blow your socks off.I could give you loads of guff but I'd rather you just give it a go if you haven't read anything by this author before.spoiler if you want lots of naughty bits ,not going to happen,this is a strong story the characters grow to fall in love after the story has been told.read ,listen to all of hunters book's,the only had thing that is pants is she doesn't write quick enough for my appetite.

Smashed it out of the park!
The best yet! I loved it. An absolute amazing thriller right from the start to finish. Excellent plot and fantastic characters that Nicki Vincent brings superbly to life. Best narration I've heard so far. I was up in the wee small hours reading and listening to this one. Sorry I'm not giving anything away. Definitely a winner.

Gripped from beginning to end.
Superb writing, relatable, warm, funny gorgeous characters in truely awful circumstances. I also love how the side characters are woven in to the story and the snarky banter is a thing of beauty. Brilliant.
Narration is absolutely top notch as always - the accents and range of voices NVV has in her armoury matches perfectly to the story. I loved it.

Excellent story and narration
Really enjoyable book from start to the finish with excellent narration. The characters were engaging, interesting and believable. The pace was just right and you continually wanted to know more. Definitely worth listening too.

Cracking fast paced tale
I didn't want to stop listening. It's a real chapter turner with great narration. The female leads are well formed and developed in each of the twin threads running through this crime thriller.

Cari Hunters best yet
An excellent read. This author just keeps getting better and better with each book. This is a real twisty, rollercoaster of a ride with a wonderful plot and amazing characters. All brought to life by Nicola Victoria Vincent. Once again she gives Cari Hunters books the narration they deserve.

Loved this thriller by super talented author
Now that I've discovered this title by Cari Hunter I'm so impressed I'll be making it my mission to find and listen to every one of her audiobooks. BTW voice artist Nicola Victoria Vincent does a really good job too.

Excellence
If someone were to ask me to recommend an author that accurately portrayed British People and British life, I would recommend Cari Hunter. The characterisations are so good (and the narrator brings them to life so well), I would easily believe that all of Cari's stories are based on true stories and real people. The way the people act and react are so natural - never jarring. The stories themselves are hear-stopping, heart-warming, triumphs and tribulations of humanity. Compulsive reading or listening, I've never taken more than a few days to finish a story. This one was so good I am tempted to listen to it again, but I am going to make myself wait so I can forget more of it.

An expertly narrated thrill ride!
WOW! Talk about a book that lives up to the hype!
The adrenaline rush begins the moment the story gets underway and doesn't stop until the end! I don't generally seek out crime thrillers, but I'd heard nothing but great things about this one and had to give it a go.
The two MCs are strong, courageous and memorable, the secondary characters are woven wonderfully into the story and the villains are breathtakingly evil. This is action packed and at times hold-your-breath, on-the-edge terrifying.
This is my second experience listening to a Nicola Victoria Vincent narrated audiobook and she is truly A+++ outstanding - handling an impressive variety of races, dialects and genders with aplomb.
It feels like I've been on a sort of thrill ride and I'm sorry to get off. A truly excellent listening experience! More of this, please!

Unbreakable was unputdownable!
Unbreakable by Cari Hunter is a sapphic crime thriller with sharp writing, well developed characters, fierce women, and an action packed plot. No spoilers but I will say
that it packs an emotional wallop at times, but also has a very sweet and satisfying ending.
You get thrown right smack into the story in the first few minutes when the scene opens up with an injured woman kidnapping a doctor. The chapters then alternate between three points of view - the doctor, the bleeding woman, and the police investigation. The details of what’s going on start trickling out as the action ramps up so it’s a page turner from start to finish.
Nicola Victoria Vincent also does an outstanding job with the narration. All of the voices are distinct and easily identifiable. She really conveys the intensity of the storyline and you feel the full range of the emotions of the characters.
I totally recommend it if you are looking for an action packed thrill ride! I loved it!

Excellent Story!
This was an excellent, suspenseful story! This my first story by this author and I’m hooked! The plot was tight and suspenseful from the get go. Th main characters were all very compelling and believable. The way the storyline evolved was really quite interesting. I liked the narrator very much.

yes.
Learning all sorts of british terms like cuppa, poorly, flat, and boot among many others! Loved figuring out their meanings from context, added an extra layer of fun for me. The book itself had just about everything I enjoyed though, crime, action, some sarcasm, a slow burn romance(although I would've loved to have gotten more of the reward portion after their torturous storyline after alllll of that suffering), and it was definitely accurate on the medical talk. Great pairing between the author and narrator, I'll be following both.

What A Thrill Ride
This was the first Cari Hunter book I listened to and it definitely grabbed me enough to purchase more. I SO want to see this as a movie. It kind reminds me of Shooter with Mark Wahlberg in that one main character is a injured early on and enlists another main character to patch them up and help clear their name. It also shares there same three character dynamic with the military background character, the healing love interest, and the law enforcement officer that realizes their innocence and works to help them.
