An account everyone should consider
Irrespective of your viewpoint on the matter, this narrative should be heard and considered. Even if you disregard the whole subject and the numerous accounts by named individuals as absurd - listening, applying the potential reality of this situation to all aspects of our exposure and understanding of moderm media and politics, I would suggest is absolutely crucial to every single one of us.
The final chapter is bourne ultimately of a pragmatic, constructive and positive outlook, in the face of a massively adverse situation.. incredibly humbling and inspiring .We are all responsible for our future in our actions. Many thanks Dr Greer.

I've Witnessed These with Dr. Greer
n May of 2017, I and twenty-eight others, met with Dr. Steven Greer out in Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.A. and were witnessed to multiple ETVs (ExtraTerrestrial Vehicles). Perfect book to use whilst on the road, I listened at 0.85x speed and the narrator has a very calm well articulated speach at that speed. I very much liked this after watching Unacknowledged the documentary.

Good for the believers
This is not the book for those looking for an objective and well thought out argument that looks to convince you that aliens exist and the government is complicit in their cover up. This is the book you read when you already believe that and you are just looking for more reasons to back up the conclusion you’ve already come to.
The book is thoroughly researched. I wouldn’t say it was well researched however. A lot of the testimonials will roughly state similar things to each other, adding credibility. An example would be an alien was found alive in Roswell and stayed alive for 3-4 years before dying of some unknown cause. All sounds potentially credible when it is said so many times. Then one of the testimonials will state that an Air Force Intelligence officer became best friends with the Alien, that it communicated through telepathy but “they” decided to surgically give it vocal cords anyways and it began to speak to people. The US Government attempted to communicate with the Alien race to give them the body back and they apparently came and collected it and had a funeral procession in their spacecraft across Washington when they did. It borders on the completely insane at that point. It belongs in the same category as “the Earth is flat”.
Another example being lots and lots of testimonials regarding seeing flying discs in the sky, chasing them and having contact with these aliens. Hard to dismiss all of those eyewitnesses for sure. One of them states that the aliens told us “look, you need to stop testing nuclear weapons you cannot blow up the planet” and then the US government decided to stop after that warning. This book attempts to re-write history to some alternative timeline and scrub us of any sense of grounded reality like some kind of “fake news” propaganda thesis.
It looks like badly written science fiction. Speaking of which, apparently Steven Spielberg had “high level” access to US Government Special Access Programs and as such, seen first hand lots of highly classified reports on UFO’s which he used to make his feature film E.T. Maybe he had “Cosmic” access, which as it keeps reminding us, is 38 levels above Top Secret. Apparently no President has ever had “Cosmic” access but a well known Hollywood Director has no problem being given it.
I’m not sure what to think of this book. It is presented as a serious piece of work but when statements like the above are made in amongst it, it’s really really difficult to actually believe anything that is concluded as a result of these testimonials. It has succeeded in peaking my curiosity however and I will do further research in order to separate the utter nonsense from the facts. I will be looking elsewhere to achieve this obviously!

Best Book on UFO's out there.
I read this in paper form and now as a audiobook. Very interesting material. The list of witnesses is outstanding based on there high ranks, backgrounds and apparent high credibility's. Good read.

after watching steven greer on gaia I felt inspired to purchase his book. it's just full of jaw dropping statements from apparent 'people in charge '.wow. everyone who feels let down by the system should listen and more importantly, the people who dont.

Good book
Great book. But it also depends on what you want to believe. some times it outs very tin foil hat type or story's. And some you really could believe. It was still very interesting.

One Of Those Must Buy Phenomenal Rare Books
I have followed Steven Greer from his movies and the great work he does investigating the hidden projects, ufos, free-energy, etc. The book goes in-depth with all of those subjects and then some. Information in the book is both inspiring and stunning all at the same time. Very knowledgable information about the secret hidden projects that will be shocking to many people on how deep the rabbit hole goes. The secrets these people are keeping from us can be a bit upsetting about how much humanity can benefit from these hidden secretive technologies but with Steven Greer and books like this one, it will open the eyes of many people and lead us to a brighter future.

A surprisingly interesting book
Would you consider the audio edition of Unacknowledged to be better than the print version?
If you are into the possibilities that the human race is not alone in this big universe and that events like Roswell, the Phoenix Lights, and other such things are probably more real than fiction, and that certain factions within the Government would truely go to any extent in keeping people and their secrets quite (and this coming from me, a formal Gov. contractor which held TS clearances), than ya, I think you'll really enjoy this book.
What does William Hughes bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I thought the reader did a great job in capturing the authors enthusiasm of what he really wanted to bring to the reader.
What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?
There are many, many interesting "tidbits" in this book, but probably one the most interesting "tidbits" if you will, is the amount of information the author presents. So much so, that in the decades I've been reading mostly for personal amusement about different things of "UFOs", Government secrets and yes, even hush, hush things I heard but wasn't supposed to hear during the years of my active contract work with the Gov when I held a TS clearance (and have never heard anywhere else), this has been the only books I'm aware of which skimmed, if not touched on all those things I've heard over all those years. A great book and a fun, if not a fascinating read.

I must warn all readers and listeners this book will shift your paradigm, it brings you to a place that you will look at the world completely different.
You will see humanity in a new light, it destroys all our differences and unites us with an eye on the future.
This is an absolute must read for every single person on the planet. It will enlighten you, it will frighten you, it will empower you and bring you to a new level.
This is my third time listening/reading this book as I write this review.
I was compelled to write this review, it’s the first one I’ve ever written but this book is that important.

I Want to Believe ...
... but this book is not helping. What we have here is a verbatim transcript of Dr. Greer's documentary film "Unacknowledged." Watch the film or read the book and you will get the same information. What we do not have is any new, compelling evidence for the existence of, or contact with, UFOs and alien species. The so-called "testimonials" (actually interviews) of various individuals who claim to have knowledge about the issue consist of unverifiable hearsay. A typical interview runs along the lines of "I was in the Army in 1956. I had a super-duper double top secret clearance. I had a buddy who knew a guy who said a friend saw a document that proved there was a conspiracy to hide the existence of contact with extraterrestrials ... or saw a picture ... or saw the alien bodies ... or saw the craft ... or was harassed by men in black" and so forth, ad nauseam. While I am disposed to believe in Dr. Greer's underlying thesis that UFOs and alien species exist and that humans have been in contact with them, this book does nothing to bolster that thesis and is a waste of time.

It is incredible to me how so much of this information is kept secret and away from the mainstream. It is, however, inevitable that this information will free itself from those chains of secrecy.

Time for Acknowledgement
I have read, listened to, and/or watched nearly every single book, video, and documentary on the alien/UFO subject and although a lot of the same stories are often told and retold, this book shares new details and information regarding those encounters as well as many brand new tales from very reliable witnesses. The narrator does a fantastic job relaying the stories and the subject matter will certainly hold your interest. Dr. Steven Greer has written a solid book which shares so much more than mere conspiracy theories. Check it out, you will be inspired.

Great listen, some sources questionable
I believe in (some) UFO sightings. Hughes reads this quite well. It is written and recorded well. The only drawback is that several heavily relied on sources have been proven to be whack jobs: Richard Doty is a counterintel officer and has hoaxed UFO fans on several occasions, Larry Warren has changed his story 1001 times, and ____ Stone is another really weird dude with questionable background, story. Dr. Green has his own stories which make me question his integrity (telepathically calling on aliens, out of body experiences on spaceships, etc). The foundation of what he’s trying to do I agree with. So the rest seems good, buy it if you are into UFOs.

a little frustrating
I bought this after watching the documentary which was pretty compelling. unfortunately I found myself getting frustrated with listening to this book.
I think part of the issue is that the reader does not change his tone and that makes it hard to know who's testimony you're hearing... there are some serious heavyweight testimonials but with the same voice speaking for all of them, it began to feel like some guy in a dark alley saying, "hey buddy, wanna hear a secret?"
I also found myself being very sceptical of the alleged miliary or pilot testimonials that used words like front or right side when describing looking out a plane... the military-speak was missing, so eroded my confidence...
in summary, lots of interesting conspiracy stories but left me feeling like there was too much fluff and not enough meat... perhaps the documentary boiled out all the fluff and that's why it's better...
