Summary

If someone had told Dawn Chadwick that she’d be attending a play put on by children on a dragon-shifter’s land a year ago, she would’ve said they were mad. However, her daughter Daisy has slowly worn Dawn down about her prejudices and she ends up volunteering to help with the play. She’s to assist a recluse dragonman with the special effects. What she didn’t count on was her daughter’s meddling.

Blake Whitby prefers working in a lab to being around people. He’s a rare white dragon with a black spot, and the attention from a young age has made him hide from others. However, he’s always had a weakness for children and agrees to help them with their play. What he didn’t count on was meeting a beautiful human with a sense of humor and a heart-warming smile. His dragon wants her, but Blake holds back. At least until two kids make holding back impossible.

While Dawn agrees to the mate-claim frenzy with Blake, there’s no guarantee their pairing will work. And when Dawn’s family threatens her happiness, Blake has to stand by his mate and fight for the family he never knew he wanted.

Brilliant!!!!

I loved this story! I already loved Daisy from the Novella's that were from the kids POV's and now her and her Mum Dawn are going to be living on Stoneridge. I loved learning more about Dawn and getting to know Blake. I can't wait for more from the Dragons!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book in audio.

It was a nice change to listen to a story about a shifter who was by nature more shy and reserved because of his dragon. I really enjoy having daisy in the story and hearing more about her antics with freddy. Dawn is such a sweet person and she was so deserving to find her perfect match and a shifter who could be happy with both daisy and her. This is my favorite couple on stonefire.

Treasured

I loved this narration, the narrator does a fantastic job bringing to book to life. And the story line is adorable too. Soooo cute. I love Daisy she’s absolutely adorable. And her mum, Dawn, is lovely. Blake may not be the alpha dragon type but he’s smart and funny and dotes on Dawn. The way he steps up is just absolutely dreamy. I just adored this cute story. And Blake gives Daisy her dream how could you not love him for that even more?

Great story

Loved the story of Dawn and Blake. They have great chemistry even if they got started all by "accident". Great read. cant wait to see if Dawn's friends has a true mate as well.

Accidental kiss

An accidental kiss that starts a mate claim frenzy also changes 3 lives forever. will the change be for the better?

The author creates a great world & the narrator brings it to life.

As Daisy would say, "brilliant".

Dawn and Blake

As Daisy would say, "brilliant".

Another wonderful story with a brilliant love story of three, well four counting the dragon, well ... you'll have to read to find out the real total.

Daisy, a human child, is coming to Lockguard to participate in a play she and a dragon friend have written. Mom, Dawn, is along to help with the production where she meets Blake. Surprise Blake has just met his mate. He never thought that would happen and has kept somewhat apart from most. However, a little help from a dragon-obsessed daughter and keeping away from Dawn is not possible.

The question is Dawn ready to get involved with a dragonman? She's attracted to him but this is a big commitment not only to adults but Daisy as well.

The story is touching, sweet, steamy, and I loved every bit and know you will as well. Be prepared it isn't going to be an easy road but these are good people.

New family

Another great Stonefire story. I love these dragons. Blake never thought he would have a family, he mostly stayed away from people but a little push would change his life forever.
Dawn had taken her daughter Daisy to Stonefire for a play put on by the human and dragon children. There she would meet Blake while helping with the play. It was fated to be.
Now they will face the challenges of being a new family, and Daisy will get to be around the dragons she loves.
Brian does such an amazing job narrating these stories. He is able to change accents and even dialects for certain areas, and the fact that I can tell the difference makes it such a joy to listen too.
