Summary
Second Chances. Cornered. Murder.
Sadie Williams receives a cryptic and terrifying call from her scared sister. But when Sadie arrives at her identical twin's home, there's no sign of Katie, only evidence of a quick flight. The puzzling situation turns potentially deadly when intruders storm the house. With help from Brock Carrington, her ex-fiance and an ex-Marine, Sadie narrowly escapes.
Brock is an injured veteran dealing with PTSD. He's finally piecing his life back together when his ex-fiancee needs his help. Can Brock reignite their relationship and find her missing twin before they're both killed?

Well done story, with one annoyance.
The story is well done, typical of the quality of work by this best-selling author. Narrator is competent. Those who like the genre (Clean Romantic Suspense) will appreciate this book. The heroines are in peril from the bad guys. The good guys who come to their aid are very good, and the bad guys are awful.
The annoying feature (which appears at least in the audio version) is the author's choice of rhyming names for the identical twin central characters. Those names, "Sadie and Katie'" are repeated over and over and over and over and over. . . until the rhyming names become like fingernails on a chalkboard.
But, I did listen to the end. . . so maybe other readers will not be as annoyed.

good story, bad price
This story was SO short, I felt jipped by the $10 pricetag. The plot was fine, but needed more. Previous two stories much better. Hesitant to buy next in series.
