Excellent
One of the best performances I have heard for a long time.
Big finish are very sci-fi orientated and I although I love sci-fi I have disliked the narrator approach to linking scenes. The BBC never use this method so for me big finish has been irritating.
However this story never uses the narrator method and is very BBC sound effects polished. If this is the future of big finish I will be buying a lot more of their stories.
Alex Kingston, voice acting, wow. She is entirely believable, vulnerable, stupid and idiotic, a real person wow
The best acted story I have heard for years.

Rollercoaster Ride great pay off. Oddly I related.
Blimey. You can tell a different writer did different chapters. It's not what you think. it constantly Has you thinking constantly!!!. Can cause trust issues...like seriously..... REALLY good suspense some can relate I know I did. It's long maybe for some. But I love Alex Kingston (Sam) so I'm not complaining. Cant say much more with out SPOILERS Sweetie our time is up........ typical therapist.
p.s you want more Alex I highly recommend The rubys curse it's brilliant. It's from doctor who universe but even as novel alone in it's own right brilliant.

A very mixed bag.
The plot had great potential but authors didn't make the most of it. 1/4 was good & pulls you in but 2/3 & 3/4 just drag, lost interest but wanted to see how it ended. The 4/4 was very well written & performed.

Excellent quality and highly recommended
An audio thriller equal to the best TV dramas. Alex Kingston is incredible, and holds your attention. The story moves on at a fast pace but without causing confusion and there are no awkward descriptive passages trying to paint in details, it just flows. Why aren't audio thrillers of this standard a thing? People should be raving about them. Can't believe I had not heard about this til now. More of this please Audible / Big Finish.

A thrilling journey
Great sound design, great voice acting and imaginative, original story. I enjoyed this very much for the reasons listed in the first sentence. Without spoilers: this is a mystery suspense thriller mixed with conspiracy theory and action. I found I was engaged with the characters from the start, I felt like I actually cared about any harm coning to them. I liked that this was not a predictable story / plot and found myself guessing at what was going to happen. I thought this was similar in story / genre / acting to BBC Tracks, which I also thoroughly enjoyed.

I tried to like it
I really wanted to like this book. I love Alex Kingstone's voice acting. It's like watching her on TV. She's excellent and really makes you "see" the story in your head. However, the story itself was a mess. Her character kept doing dumb things for such a smart woman, such as blabbing details of her patient's diagnosis to her best friend when she shouldn't and putting him in danger as a result, or refusing protection from a patient who is clearly dangerous. Or NOT telling another friend she has taken refuge with details he should know to protect himself. The plot went all over the place until I was so lost, I finally gave up listening. I did not finish. Maybe it got better towards the end, but I just couldn't make myself keep listening. I'll try other stories starring Kingston, but this one was a miss for me.

Não estou sabendo lidar!
This was magnificent!
All of it, but the ending it was woow! Still on my bed not knowing how to live after this.😮
When I got it I expected to enjoy it. But I didn't expect to enjoy as much as I did.
The story left me trying to discover what was going on, who deserved to be trusted or not, and when I stopped it to do other things, all I could do was think what was going to happen next.
Alex Kingston is superb and you can feel everything just in her voice. But, seriously, all the performances was amazing and impressive.
And the ending! Woow, that ending! I just want to keep listening it again and again.
I really hope Big Finish do more of these originals!
