Bit boring

An okay freebie got a bit bored but carried on till the end. Not memorable I’m afraid.

An intruiging mystery drama

As a fan of BBC radio dramas, I'm always on the lookout for the next one rather than an audio book read by one person verbatim. I'm typically drawn to the more sci-fi style such as hitchhikers guide, LoTR, Dirk Gently, Good Omens etc. as opposed to straight up crime dramas, however I felt that this was a great balance of thriller and mystery in the sense that it is a sort of conspiracy theory more grounded in reality than sci-fi. A good mix of both genres, with less emphasis on the science fiction but that still being present.
I really enjoyed the audio quality, the sound effects and the performances, I felt drawn in by it and didn't feel put off as I sometimes do by over acting or rubbish sound effects. I'm really looking forward to using my next credit to purchase season 3-4 then hopefully season 5 if the former lives up to expectations. I would recommend this.

Had me gripped from start to finish,

Wow this audio did not disappoint, it keeps you guessing as you follow hellen through each chapter. Just when you think you have worked it out it spins your idea on its head.

I listened to it in the car and found my self staying sat in my car at home till the chapter ended I was that gripped.

The actors did an amazing job and makes you feel like your part of the story.

This is a must listen for any audible listener and well worth the money.

Strange towards the end

The first seven parts of this dramatisation moved along quite happily, after that there seems have been a decline in the story content. It seems like the author had run out of steam, but still had the airtime to fill.

Overall it’s well written, both the cast and sound department do an excellent job.

Completely compelling

This is brilliant!
Mid-way through the first episode I thought it was going to be too gloomy and dark to listen to in anything other than short bursts. A day and a half later I'd finished it - having done little else with my weekend other than listen to this - it's properly un-put-downable.
it has conspiracy, twists, turns, and every time you think you've worked out what's going on something new turns up and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
The performances are brilliant.
A real treat of a listen.

Fairly good

It"s not bad, but it feels unfinished and underdeveloped. And a little too predictable at times.

Didn’t finish

I wanted to like this. It was recommended to me by a colleague, whose opinion I respect and she was on series 5. I got half way through series 2, hoping to get more drawn in but after the chimpanzees in cages with parts of their brains removed, I knew I had reached my limit. My colleague praised the quality of the acting but all the gasping and gulping of our heroine, really started to get on my nerves. Give it a try…just not for me.
