Summary

Adrienne Pierce, buffeted by fate and abandoned by love, seeks refuge from her past as well as her uncertain future on Whitley Point, a secluded island off the coast of Maine. Tanner Whitley - young, wild, restless - and heir to a dynasty, desperately tries to escape both her destiny and the memories of a tragic loss with casual sex and wild nights, a dangerous course that may ultimately destroy her.

One timeless summer, these two very different women discover the power of passion to heal - and the promise of hope that only love can bestow.

tender

I have a hard time explaining how this book affected me, breast cancer is so unfair and to all women affected I give my deepest sincere regret at thier suffering, to those who share thier stories- my pride, the book isn't just a wonderful romance and great piece of writing, but a message of hope and future.

Excellent rendition!

I have always enjoyed Radclyffe's romances and Tomorrow's Promise is no exception. Tanner and Adrienne also appear in the Honor series as friends of Blair.

Natalie did a marvelous job in bringing the characters to life, the pacing and intonations were beautifully done.

Promise is the of Navy Commander on leave, and Rich Party Girl.

Promise is story told in layers like peeling an onion, Two random woman meet, One a Commander in the Navy. The other a very out rich party girl. The two have nothing in common on the surface, but as they spend time together and the layers are peeled slowly back; they have a lot more in common and both women's dark secrets come tumbling out as well. You will fall in with them as they fall in with each other on Whitney Island.

Good story

I really enjoyed following this story line. it was well written, and with some laugh out loud moments. I also felt connected to both characters on a personal level.
The narration wasn't bad at all. she did a good job bring the story to life.

I loved Tomorrow's Promise. I have read it before. But this Audible version is a great addition to my audio library. Great story w/ Adrienne and Tanner. I' m so glad Tanner found someone before she self destructed. Great narration.

Loved this one!!!

It was so good to hear about Tanner and her story. I think I will re-read the entire series while this book is still fresh in my mind.

Sad to say...

I found this one really hard to get through. It felt like watching paint dry with this narrator. There just was no passion at all and it felt like she was going through the motions.

Annoying main character

I’ve read/listened to most of Radclyffe’s books but this one was almost unbearable. Without giving too much away, I thought one of the main female love interests was so unlikeable. I almost thought Tanner would have been better off without her. The way she came across in this book seems very different from how she’s portrayed in the Honor series. Perhaps it’s the narrator that made her seem insufferably weak and whiny all the time, but she drove me nuts. Poor Tanner. Also, this narrator was not my fave for the Radclyffe books. Perhaps I’m just used to Abby Craden or Nicol Zanzarella. They would have been much better choices.

Not my favorite

Not my favorite of Radclyff’s books. I had a difficult time understanding why these two would be together. The narration was very flat, reading the book with no affect.

Good story...but...

I was very excited to see Tanner’s story! I read all the Honor series and listened to them so it was nice to get Tanner’s back story. It was a very touching story and well written but the narrator just didn’t work for me. One of the characters could be talking about the weather or expressing their love and it all sounds the same. I actually had to stop listening for a few days because I got bored. I did eventually finish it only because I wanted to know the outcome(not that I didn’t know they would be together lol). I am just saying...if you don’t mind listening to someone that sounds like they are reading a newspaper article to you...get this audio book. I highly recommend just reading it yourself though.
