Great for getting back into triathlons

I really enjoyed the audio book but I do think you need the hard copy or ebook. Definitely great advice and a few things in there that I would have never thought off to make tri life easier. Will recommend to friends and family. I will be buying the ebook to look back on now and again.

Great Triathlon Insight!

Really interesting read and performed well, if sometimes a bit cheesy. Insightful, informational and interesting. Exactly what you want from this type of book!

Perfect for a triathlon newbie

What made the experience of listening to To the Finish Line the most enjoyable?

Chrissie's style is fresh, funny and engaging. I have huge admiration for Chrissie and won't hesitate in recommending this book to triathlon newbies.

What did you like best about this story?

The volume of the recording was quiet low throughout and particularly at the beginning of each chapter. This made it hard to hear at times whilst driving or when out running near busy roads.

What about Imogen Church’s performance did you like?

Imogen is a 1st class narrator and her tone perfectly suits Chrissie's style. Imogen also narrated "A Life Without Limits" and as such it felt as if I was listening to an old friend :-)

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Difficult to listen to in one sitting due to the length and the content.

Any additional comments?

I would suggest the book description should give more guidance on the target audience as the content was geared more towards a beginner and less so for the intermediate to seasoned triathlete.

Balanced story and training

Imogen’s second go at narrating For Christie Wellington. A life without limits appealed to me more and is a great inspiring story. This one more s collection of training tips and anecdotes. Great for someone who is new to triathlon but also a good listen for someone with more Tri experience. Chrissie is a very positive and determined person and that is conveyed through both books with an inspiring effect. Also gets over the message, just go, do it and keep it simple. You want to do triathlon, then get a bike, a pair of trainers and a swimsuit. Keep it simple and just work :)

Not as engaging and her first book

This has good tips for triathletes but plenty of repetition from the first and also not ideal in parts for audiobook as she lists food etc.

Good, but not brilliant

Good content, but not inspired as I thought I might be and also not inspired by the narrator.

Very informative to an aspiring triathlete

After listening to Chrissies autobiography it was great to get more into the specifics of her training and the transition into triathlon with "to the finish line". I was very happy to hear this was read by Imogen Church as she did a wonderful job reading the first book. Imogen has a great voice which makes this audible book a joy to listen to.

Coach Gordon's Review

Excellent book full of humour and knowledge. Some good solid advice for triathletes and also for life in general. Once you start you won't want to stop.
