A great book full of takeaway principles

Needless to say I will listen to this repeatedly. Each chapter stands alone. Whether you're looking for a total life change or just a pick me up you will find much to keep you engaged and inspired. So many have walked the path before us and we should take heart, we are well equipped. Learn the principles and put them to use, it's not by chance that we've come this way.

Liberating

I have read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, multiple times but I must say this particular book challenges you to get up and fight for what you believe in, and never to stop until you achieve it. The last two chapters were the most impactful to me.

I recommend this book to everyone, young and old, no matter what your experiences are at the moment. You will definitely find a story or two of other people experiences that have been shared here that will help point you in the way. Business owners and Entrepreneurs, this book is for you. The lessons here are so invaluable.

Success indeed leaves clues and you have just discovered one such places: Think and Grow Rich, A Black Choice.

Thank you Mr. Kimbro so such gift to the World.

Amazingly refreshing

I have enjoyed this book immensely, even though I have read the original Think and grow rich this one resonates with me on a deeper level. It was refreshing to hear so many true life stories of how many people of colour overcame adversity, discrimination, and blatant prejudice to reach their desired goals regardless. I am inspired to achieve more and leave this life completely empty, after giving my all to help others.

Amazing - Life-changing book

So glad I came across this book, for a black man it's powerful, but the Principles could be used by any race, I think this is better than the original think & grow rich 🤑

Mind bending, inspirational and actionable!

I had already read Thinknand grow rich however the Black choice resonates most with me for the examples are more aligned with my struggles which makes realtability visual where I can draw from.

Not Feeling the Connection

This book has great info. I just felt that this book was written for non blacks to understand black people. I think it was too general and didn't touch on why we think the way we think and how to overcome that. And throwing in the few black people that became successful, although idyllic, doesn't really compare to the masses that have not and remain in a stupor. I feel almost no connection to a book that is marketed to people like me. I even felt slightly offended.

I will continue to listen repeatedly but I don't think my opinion will change much.

Excellent

I've read as well as listened to the audiobook to the original Think and Grow Rich. Wasn't sure what to expect from this version but this audiobook give great examples of triumph over hardship than the original version. As we all can agree the African American experience here in America hasn't been an easy one. But, regardless of your race or ethnicity you can benefit from the knowledge gained from this audiobook!

Respectability Politics & Victim Blaming

There’s a lot of applicable information in this book but there were several times where I would get distracted by how severely the book understates the impact of slavery and racism.

When talking about a former slave, it’s inappropriate to say they were held back by “perceived unfairness”

The book has gems but gives “bootstrap” vibes.
