A brilliant follow up to How to Buy A Planet.
I enjoyed the 1st book in this series (How to Buy a Planet) but, in my opinion, this one is better. The plot, pace and story were excellent and I was hooked in from the 1st chapter.
Set many years before the 1st book it takes us back in time to explain how Mrs B becomes Mrs B. I don't want to spoil the plot so I'll just focus on how I experienced the story and how it's told. The descriptions were so vivid that I could easily imagine where they were and this plays into the action-adventure elements of the story. I also loved the blossoming love story between a couple of the characters. Like the previous book, there is a pace to it but there are also some moments to catch your breath and this is where the characters really come to life.
I had looked for another book in the series but I guess we'll have to wait. I'm looking forward to seeing how this series plays out.
