Summary

It’s one thing to read about witches, it’s another thing to discover you are one.

Glasgow law student David Hunter is drifting through life and feels something is missing. When on a night out someone tries to kill him and he discovers he is from a long line of witches known as Dream Dancers, his life is turned upside down.

Now David has unwittingly exposed himself to a world of powerful witches, clandestine government agencies, and a fight to protect the Akashic records.

Is a life filled with magick really his true calling in life?

If you love witches, magick, and conspiracy theories, you’ll love the first book in this fast-paced supernatural thriller series.

This is not one of those books you can’t put down.

I found the book boring hard to hold attention until 20 minutes before it ended.

Interesting subject but told in a very predictable way.

The story could have been more nuanced with not having the bad guys so bad and the good guys so good. I felt manipulated in that I didn't realize it was a series. Despite that, I enjoyed the authors research into esoteric practices

Intriguing!

I am definitely ready to see what comes after this book! A tad bit slow in the beginning but it didn’t take long to pull me in!

Witchy fun

I liked the audio, didn’t love it. So so story. The best part that kept me reading was the readers accent. It was told well.

Looking forward to book .

When does book 2 come out? On Audible, that is.
Of course the story line is a bit fantastic. Despite that, the character development and plot sequences is enough to transport readers to Aitchison’ s new world. Enjoy the story. There is enough in real-life that gets nick-picked, let this enjoyable story be enjoyable.

Good story line

It’s a good story for young adult listeners I believe. About coming of age and learning things about yourself that you had no clue we’re even there. Hope there is another couple of books in the series.
