Summary

What if humanity didn't start on Earth?

An incredible discovery deep inside the Great Pyramid, a mysterious signal sent from the Bermuda Triangle, and a ruthless experiment taking place in Area 51: How are they all connected?

When Malia Kwan exhibits unusual abilities, government agents show up at her home to apprehend her and her twin brother, Jaden - and all hell breaks loose. After their parents are killed, Jaden and Malia flee into the night, becoming fugitives. Before long, they discover their true identities are tied to the lost city of Atlantis - and to the origins of humanity itself. And now a threat emerges that could wipe out the entire human race - unless Jaden and Malia can stop it!

Tosh

Written for kids. Don’t bother unless it’s free.
This could have been a middle school book at most.

very average

personally I found the whole thing irritating and the way the narrative went made this feel like a story for teens or younger. I'll avoid the reader in future

A really interesting story spoiled by the male protagonist being a whinging little twat.

Story well written, well narrated also.

I want my money back!

Looked good initially but couldn't finish it - the plot was not believable, the characters unlikable and the whole thing was a peurile mish mash of every fringe topic out there - had potential but poorly done.

Good story, but it's over too quick

Read this after seeing an ad on fb. And while I enjoyed the book a lot, it felt like the author had been limited to like 30k words or something. everything just happened super quick and I think more time could have been spent exploring characters and the back story. But don't let this put you off reading. as long as you're prepared to let it wash over you this is a good yarn

Not a book for adults

I thought this was going to be a good sci fi for adults but it read like a childrens book. The hero Jayden behaved like a typical spoiled, belligerent teenager. Listened to the end but no real enjoyment.

Slow burner, but a good yarn once it gets going

When I bought this book I didn't realise it was aimed at Young Adults, probably why I saw it advertised on Facebook! If can get over even the adults talking as the teenagers in the story do, then it does have an interesting end to the tale, which makes it worthwhile. Will probably buy the next book in what would appear to be a series!
