Summary

Could you ever be friends with the woman who stole your husband? That is the question facing Jenny when Helena appears at her door.

Five years ago, Craig abandoned Jenny and moved in with Helena. Now it seems Craig has moved onto a younger woman. Helena pleads with Jenny to help find out who the mystery woman is.

Jenny's friend Kate and adult daughter Rebecca warn her not to become involved. But Jenny can't resist....

This might just be the opportunity she has been looking for. It's not very often the chance for revenge comes knocking. But does Jenny really know what she's getting into, and is Helena really the person she appears to be?

I quite like the story

The story was okay. but oh the narration so let it down! the daughter and friend came across as excitable children.. I'm sure they weren't meant to be like that.

Really disliked the main character

Not sure where to start on this book? Main character was very dislikable, Craig did not feature enough his character was not explored, The story was unbelievable and all in all to wishy washy, I would not recommend. But the narrator was good!

It was okay

You're not supposed to like the main character. In fact, I don't think you're supposed to like any of the characters. It does read a bit like a juicy gossip magazine and I also think that's the whole point. It was very predictable ...but the ending did kinda make me laugh. It probably shouldn't but if you've ever been cheated on, I think you might relate. Hey, it was free and for that it was okay to listen to.

Not sure what I expected, but it was alright.

The narrator was excellent although I'm sure in at least one place the main character was referred to as Hannah, rather than Helena. The Webs We Weave was alright, a bit flat and chick-lit-ish for the 80%, then it picked up up towards the end but the story line was a little predictable. I listened to it as a free book, and it was ok as a freebie but I would have been disappointed if I'd used a credit.

Twisty!

This did not disappoint and I had no idea where it was going. Hard to say much more without giving too much away.

At least it didn’t cost me a credit!

Didn’t like any of the characters. Far fetched storyline. Persevered to the end and can’t wait to start a new book!

Some people just don't know when to be quiet and be nice. Totally understand what happened and why.

Twisted

I love the twisted mind of the main character. You don't know weather to love her or hate her.

Okay

Hardly any storyline to speak of. Narration of the main character was okay but the daughter? Oh my goodness such a whiney voice and every word shouted it was so annoying! The narrator even called Helena, Hanna at one point! But I listened to it all so it must have been….okay.

Easy listening

Central character quite likeable. Overall an easy and entertaining listen about the with of a woman's scorn. Quick paced dialogue in places and easy visualisation. Light g
