About this listen
Real Monsters Are Not Afraid to Wear Pink!
Dracula looks on in horror at the monster's duck pouting on Instagram: teen vampires glistening in the sun with fabulous hair, werewolves with hipster beards....
He decides enough is enough. He will salvage the monster image with the monsters of old, and remind the world that they are so much more than fantasy objects for teenage girls.
Standing in Dracula’s way to world domination, are the children of his old enemies who have grown up, well, a bit snowflakey.
The Apocalypse is upon us.
Good versus evil.
Monster versus monster.
It is this Wednesday.
Bring a packed lunch.

Werewolves & Vampires & Zombies Oh My!
What happens when monsters start to be perceived as cuddly and nice? Count Dracula isn't happy and flies over to America to kill the loveable undead kids who started the trend following their parents being cursed.
What follows is an all out war between scary and not so scary monsters of every kind.
Written with a high level of humour, a deluge of bad language and plenty of adult only content this was at times laugh out loud funny and at others a head in hands groan-a-thon.
A fun novella with a narrator who throws himself into both the characters and the humour with abandon.

A funny book with an even funnier plot!
When a vampire in the Shapeshifting wolf want to be together and even tell Frank and Stan it is 1785 he should get with the times there a modern couple. He gets the local witch to cast a curse so any children they have will not be feared by anyone. Hundreds of years later the couple is living in LA and have three children a vampire, a wolf and a zombie and they’re the most popular influencers on social media and even a appear in commercials. Dracula isn’t happy when he finds out abot no one fearing them he is even more unhappy when he finds out he cannot take any weapons with them to LA to murder the couple. So instead he shows up at their house knocks on the door while they’re eating dinner and tell them we will be back with a hord of vampires and a horde of zombies and then the biggest monster he knows. When Dracula leaves the mom and dad waste no time leaving town because they are cowards. The kids on the other hand call all the zombies they know to the football field and then consult with their aunt who is a witch and in love with a pig man… That is a side plot but still hilarious. Will the kids be ableTo defeat Dracula and his armies of ghouls? This storyso funny I love Simon please forgive any grammatical errors as I dictate my reviews and dictation tends to make me look like an idiot!

Don't cough.
This is yet another very humorous book from Simon Carr. It brings procreation between species to a whole new level with plenty to get the old stomach muscles exercising. As usual no spoilers from me except to say if you enjoy a good zany story then this may well be for you. Highly recommended listen, Tim Alexander sounds to have a real ball creating all of his silly voices for the many characters. **********
