Summary

Join Sunday Times best seller Heidi Swain in Nightingale Square for a sunshine and celebration filled summer....

Beth loves her job working in a care home, looking after its elderly residents, but she doesn’t love the cramped and dirty house-share she currently lives in. So, when she gets the opportunity to move to Nightingale Square, sharing a house with the lovely Eli, she jumps at the chance.

The community at Nightingale Square welcomes Beth with open arms, and when she needs help to organise a fundraiser for the care home they rally round. Then she discovers The Arches, a local creative arts centre, has closed and the venture to replace it needs their help too—but this opens old wounds and past secrets for Beth.

Music was always an important part of her life, but now she has closed the door on all that. Will her friends at the care home and the people of Nightingale Square help her find a way to learn to love it once more?

Brilliant!!!

To get me reacquainted with Nightingale Square, I listened to all the books again.
This latest episode slotted seamlessly alongside the rest.
I loved all the different characters in the book & have decided that Heidi Swain has some sort of knowledge of life in a care home to come up with all the different characters, especially Greta. She is by far my favourite.
I hope Heidi doesn't leave it long before the next book is out because I was really sad this one had to come to an end.
I would definitely recommend it.

What a fabulous book

Heidi Swain you’ve done it again, what an amazing book, loved it from start to finish, all the characters in it are amazing and make the book just perfect, I didn’t want it to end, and cannot wait till you write another book and we go back again to nightingale square.

A great summer read

I loved the characters and it was narrated really well.
The characters in Nightingale square were relatable although Eli was a little too petulant for my liking

Lovely Listen 3 Stars ⭐⭐⭐

I can always count on Heidi Swain for a lovely listen. I have read nearly all of her books, they are always a good story.

The only word that drove me nuts in this book was the over-use of the saying "Waxing Lyrical"

It was so nice to be listening about the residents of 'Nightingale Square ' again as I do love catching up on all the Characters.

Karen Cass is a brilliant narrator and performer, she really brings all of the characters alive.

Another lovely book

I enjoyed this book as all the others, but couldn’t take to Eli at all just taking off for no reason instead of talking just didn’t sit right with me.

Nice listen!

Thoroughly enjoyable little story nicely interwoven. Being an emotional person who gets totally absorbed I went through the whole gamut of emotions from laughter to anger to tears to happy.

Lovely rose coloured story

Lots of fun characters, stories interwoven and another perfectly narrated interpretation of a classic Heidi Swain book.
