Summary
They are called kareshta, the silent ones.
But the silent are waking.
Kyra has lived her life in the shadow of a powerful Grigori brother. She's ignored her own desires for the good of her family, but an unexpected request from Thailand sends her on a mission that could change her life and alter the fate of free Grigori all over the world. Sons of the Fallen hidden in the mountains of Thailand have adapted an ancient human magic for their own purposes. Will this practice bring peace or lead to even greater danger for the Irin race?
A simple diplomatic mission sends Leo to Bangkok, but he didn't expect to see a familiar face in surveillance photographs. He's tried everything to drive Kyra from his mind, since he was convinced the gentle kareshta wanted to hide from the world. How did she turn up halfway across the globe, living with Grigori who may or may not be Irin allies?
Leo has bided his time. He's given Kyra her space.
But this scribe is ready to hear a kareshta sing.

great story but narrator ruined it for me
I was so excited for this next book in the series but I miss the characters from the first 3 books. The narrator obviously didn’t do his research about Leo and Kyra’s background and deep accents. Leo sounded more like he was a surfer from California instead of Russian. In my opinion, the characters were less lively and didn’t stand out which made it hard to listen to without getting frustrated.
I’m sure Aaron Sherlock is a good narrator but not for me

Silent
I was really disappointed that Zachary Weber did not narrate this book. Usually the same narrator does the whole series. I tried really hard to like this narrator the same. Zachary did such a fantastic job up to the The Silent. I won’t be buying any more audibles in this series. The story is absolutely amazing.

Narration is too much.
This series is plagued by bad narration. This one is too precious and overly emotional. If he just emoted for the characters and did a more straightforward telling voice it would be much better.

Amazing series
I’ve enjoyed every book in this series and this one did not disappoint. It was great to see Leo and Kyra reunited after the battle in Vienna and work together to save other Gregoria and their sisters.

Epic Series!!
Every book of this series is full of So Much!
I could not stop listening. I got through them all in 3 days. Having had shoulder surgery I had plenty of time😂
The depth of each book absoultly showed the war between heaven and hell to it's max.
with a little mythology and a great imagination to boot.
Elizabeth I have read many of your wonderful books. These are Epic. They would make a great movie. Ty

Nice story
Nice sweet romantic story between an Scribe & a Grigori. Well written sensual scenes. Battle and heroics too. The narrator did a fantastic job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene.
