Summary

MURDER ON THE HIGH SEAS

Eric’s wife, Anne, has followed the advice of handsome lawyer Mark Fenham and invested a small fortune in a merchant bank also involved in underwriting marine insurance. Now her company must pay out a vast insurance claim for the Sea Dawn, a ship sunk in Spanish waters. Eric Ward smells fraud.

Shipping legal issues made fascinating.

I must admit I considered shipping and the issues surrounding its insurance practices pretty dry topics. Roy Lewis, however, again shows his skill at making legal disputes absolutely fascinating. Like the first two books in the series, "The Shipping Murder" focuses largely on legal wrangling and offers little wild action, but the story remains gripping and so much fun.
