Summary
The dust of the Cabot sisters' shocking plans to rescue their family from certain ruin may have settled, but Prudence Cabot is left standing in the rubble of scandal. Now regarded as an unsuitable bride, she's tainted among the ton. Yet this unwilling wallflower is ripe for her own adventure. And when an irresistibly sexy American stranger on a desperate mission enlists her help, she simply can't deny the temptation. The fate of Roan Matheson's family depends on how quickly he can find his runaway sister and persuade her to return to her betrothed. Scouring the rustic English countryside with the sensually wicked Prudence at his side - and in his bed - he's out of his element. But once Roan has a taste of the sizzling passion that can lead to forever, he must choose between his heart's obligations and its forbidden desires.

Cute Story
Some unusual and entertaining plotting for an historical, and I always love it when authors throw a little American chaos into tidy English aristocracy.
I actually didn't realize this was book 3 of this family's tale; I went ahead and bought #2 to go properly backwards.

What a fun romp!
Would you listen to The Scoundrel and the Debutante again? Why?
Absolutely! I loved that both lead characters are delightful characters developed in a most heartening story. Neither is ever a total jerk or a shrew...very refreshing.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Scoundrel and the Debutante?
I knew that when Prudence nailed her target, the she was a force to be reckoned with.
What does Rosalyn Landor bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Her voice is amazing...so believable!

Great narration
I liked this book the best of the three. Honor is my least favorite sister. she is just self centered and obnoxious. Grace is better but not by much. Mercy is a hoot! And Prudence is just wonderful. I liked the heroes in these stories better than the heroines.
I loved that it was Jeffery that made Prudence see she should do what her heart tells her. Great ending to a good series.

Intense story
After reading the other two stories I wonder how Pru would cause a scandle and I was not disappointed. I recommend reading the stories in order.

Story did not engage me
I had a hard time getting through this book even though Rosalyn Landor is a great narrator. I'm not sure why, but I almost didn't finish. The characters just did not engage my interest.

Part of a series
Since this wasn't labeled as part of a series, I thought this was a stand alone novel. It was fine by itself, but I could tell that I would have enjoyed it more knowing about the older Cabot sisters and how they met and married.
Rosalyn Landor was wonderful as always and it certainly didn't hurt that some of the characters were American to help differentiate between voices.
I thought the end dragged a bit (let's just get to the HEA already !). A good listen, but read the first 2 books.
