I really enjoyed this book
Lots of interesting historical details - I enjoyed this a lot. The narrator (also the writer) starts off very quickly at the beginning and I wasn't sure if it was going to annoy me, but she does slow down a bit. Definitely worth a listen.

Overall I did not enjoy this book at all. I would have liked to return it but believe that I may have had it in my library for too long.

Interesting insight
Excellent reference to how clothing can speak volumes. Revenge dresses, hidden notes in clothing to express sentiments about the wearer.
