About this listen

The final skull has been found. Now, all hell's breaking loose.

For 2,000 years, the Triarii have protected us, influencing history from the Crusades to the discovery of America. Descending from the Roman Empire, they pervade every level of society and are now in a race with our own government to retrieve an ancient artifact thought to have been lost forever.

Caught in the middle is archaeology professor James Acton, relentlessly hunted by the elite Delta Force, under orders to stop at nothing to possess what he has found, and the Triarii, equally determined to prevent the discovery from falling into the wrong hands.

With his students and friends dying around him, Acton flees to find the one person who might be able to help him, but little does he know he may actually be racing directly into the hands of an organization he knows nothing about.

From USA Today and million copy best-selling author J. Robert Kennedy comes The Protocol, the first entry in an action-packed, globe-spanning series of thrillers certain to leave you breathless.

If you enjoy fast-paced adventures in the style of Dan Brown, Clive Cussler, and James Rollins, then you’ll love this taut tale of archaeological suspense.

Get The Protocol now, and dig up a thriller 2,000 years in the making....

Shoddy research.

The author should have researched the UK more thoroughly. The London Underground is called just that or The Tube, never the Subway. In the UK, a subway is passage under a road. The pavement in the UK is what Americans refer to as the sidewalk, not the roads. Coroners in the UK are Officers of The Court. They enquire into sudden or suspicious deaths amongst other duties. They do not perform autopsies ( or post mortems as they are called in the UK.) it is very jarring to read or hear Americanisms coming from a British character. I know that this book was written some years ago, so it is a bit late to ask for revisions, but the author ever reads this I would urge him to remember that these books are read and listened to in the UK.

Alittle far fetched

If your out of thing to read then worth it. Or you just want a fast paced action packed book this will do just fine.

For me

In places it was just to much. In others it was great. Best to take if your not bothered about in-depth characters. Plot lines that are far fetched. For instance there is a black ops soldier who by the end of the books becomes a Apache attack helicopter pilot. A professor who uses to be in the National Guard. Some how was an expert at escape and evade?

R C Bray was brilliant as always and drags you though the story as only he can.

I dont think I will be paying for anymore of this series unless I can get more then one book for one purchase.

Worth it, go buy it.

I loved it, cant beat R C Bray! I just traveled to many places and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I have read/listened to a few Dan Browns, and I think this is far better. Writer and Narrator is a great combination. The plot is fast and well paced, characters well written. A combination of Dan Brown / sort of Indiana Jones but far far better.
I did win this book on a FB page, a bonus! but I would have purchased the book, being a fan of the great Bray anyway. Well worth the credit. Highly recommend you get the book, you wont be disappointed.
