Summary
For 300 years, The Pilgrim's Progress has remained perhaps the best-loved and most read of devotional fictions. In plain yet powerful and moving language, Bunyan tells the story of Christian's struggle to attain salvation and the Gates of Heaven. He must pass through the Slough of Despond, ward off the temptations of Vanity Fair, and fight the monstrous Apollyon. In Part II, his wife and children follow the same path, helped and protected by Great-heart, until for them, too, "the trumpets sound on the other side."

An inspiration for Christians
An engaging and helpful allegorical tale, to correctly inspire, gently chastise and motivate those on their own pilgrimage.
No matter who you identify with in the story, perhaps all the characters at some point, you will leave inspired to know that with your lords assistance, you will make it to the end.

Amazing, and incredible narration
I’m not religious in the slightest yet this is my favourite book of all time, and the narration by David Shaw Parker is the best I’ve ever heard in a story. Would recommend to everyone.

One of my best
This title always leaves in me a longing for Heaven and be with the Lord. Also several points for meditation in the Word of God.
I will always recommend to any pilgrim, as we are called to be by Peter the Apostle, for edification of the Faith I. the inner man!

Peculiarly Lively retelling
I loved the interaction between Christian and all the other characters. It’s a commentary on the Christian faith and human life.

most excellent
Very well read, very good character voices, plenty to ponder on.
I understand that it is the first novel written in English and has never been out of print.

Enjoyablo and Enlightening !
Love it. Well paced and beautifully read. Worth listening again and again. Most memorable part was the struggle with Giant Dispair and while at the House of the Interpretor. I would recommend for young adult from 10 plus too.

Outstanding book, outstanding production
Pilgrim's Progress is the greatest work of literature ever penned outside the pages of holy scripture, and this production is outstanding, with great tempo and expression. Warmly commended.

What an encouragement!
So pleased with this version of the book. I have never managed to read it through myself, but listening to it so well read I have completed both Christian and Christiana’s journeys. There are parts of the story I have listened to many times. What an encouragement!
