About this listen
The new Sissy Sawyer adventure - The discovery of a murdered office worker in the elevator of a condemned building sets in motion a chain of events that will make the streets of Cincinnati run with blood.
Police artist Molly and her alternative, chain-smoking, fortune-telling mother-in-law, Sissy Sawyer, become inextricably involved. Sissys tarot cards seem to be offering her clues, if only she can decipher them in time....

Fans of the Sissy Sawyer series can't pass up this adventure. When an office worker is found murdered in an elevator, psychic Sissy Sawyer gets involved. This time, Sissy's police artist daughter-in-law, Molly, finds herself entangled as well. Performer Liza Ross has found a home with the Sissy Sawyer series. Her warm, mature voice suits the narration pitch-perfectly. Meanwhile, she breathes life into these characters through their fantastic voices. Her natural pacing makes the mystery a cinch to follow. Fans of female-driven mysteries with a side of fortune telling will find this audiobook in the cards.

An Enjoyable if Far Fetched Audiobook With Excellent Narration
I really enjoyed this latest audiobook in the Sissy Sawyer series. Okay, this one was a bit more far fetched than audiobook one, but what should you expect from a series based on the supernatural.
Like others have mentioned Graham Masterton has made some errors in this book, getting the names of some of the key players wrong.
It’s a shame as it’s not what you’d expect from a writer as good as Graham is.
All that aside, the audiobook is well worth listening to in particular for the excellent narration. Once again, Liza Ross is the star of the audiobook. In my opinion she has to be one of the best narrators I’ve come across to date.

Jean and Jake become Molly and Victoria
So, I am a little obsessed over Sissy's daughter in law and her grandchild but who can blame me when in book 1 they were called Jean & Jake and now they are Molly & Victoria and this is NOT because Sissy has 2 sons, it's because Graham Masterton is apparently too lazy to remember his characters... But that aside, I did enjoy this story it was pretty original if not groundbreaking but let's face it, what ground is there to break these days?

creative but disappointing
Would you try another book written by Graham Masterton or narrated by Liza Ross?
Possibly
Would you ever listen to anything by Graham Masterton again?
I would listen the Katie MacGuire series
Which character – as performed by Liza Ross – was your favourite?
Sissy
If this book were a film would you go see it?
No
Any additional comments?
A very far-fetched story. Unsatisfying follow-up to the first Sissy Sawyer book as Sissy's son's family are completely different to the family mentioned in "Feely and Touchy", the first book. There seem to be a different wife and child who cannot be explained by the time-frame (second wife and second child for instance.) This underestimates the readers' interest and intelligence, lazy writing.

Supernatural 👻
Literature, fiction, & thriller. Absolutely fine and tells us what to expect. Supernatural? Not mentioned? Very disappointed.

Just kind of stupid
Not a great story in my opinion, again Masterton’s characters are too easily convinced of the ridiculous supernatural. Listened to the end but found myself laughing at some of the narrative e.g. dying man “is that you ma” and also shaking my head at the developments in the story. This is no Stephen King

All rather silly
Having read the first in the series 'Touchy and Feeley' I was hoping for something far superior to this. In the first book Sissy is a seemingly eccentric woman with the suggestion of a 'gift'. Here she is a fully fledged super psychic living in a world where the impossible happens on a regular basis. I'm sure her late husband was called 'Gerald' whereas in this book he is referred to as 'Frank'. Other characters from the first book are presented differently here. I'm not sure why I bothered to finish it except that I couldn't quite believe how ludicrous it was.

Disapointing
This could have been so much better. if a lot of the chapters had been deleted or amalgamated.
