Story
It all started with a mysterious blue note sewn into a wedding dress. Something blue. I’d gone to sell my own unworn bridal gown at a vintage clothing store. That’s when I found another bride’s “something old". Stitched into the lining of a fabulously feathered design was the loveliest message I’d ever read: Thank you for making all of my dreams come true.

Story
A new standalone novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author, Vi Keeland. The night I met Drew Jagger, he'd just broken into my new Park Avenue office. I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills. He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing. Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant. Only, turned out, he wasn't an intruder at all. Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He'd been on vacation while his posh space was renovated.

Story
The first time I met Caine West was in a bar. He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out. When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight -- telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass. You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend-smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married. He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done.

Bennett Fox walked into my life on one hell of a crappy Monday morning. I was late for the first day at my new job - a job I’d now have to compete for, even though I’d already worked eight years to earn it, because of an unexpected merger. While I lugged my belongings up to my new office, a meter maid wrote me a parking summons. She’d ticketed a long line of cars - except for the Audi parked in front of me, which happened to be the same make and model as mine. Annoyed, I decided to regift my ticket to the car that had evaded a fine.

Money or love? Which would you choose? You probably just answered the question in your head, thinking it's an easy decision. For me, it's not. Did I mention it's a lot of money? A hell of a lot. I needed to go far away to think it through. As I embarked on an impulsive trip, I hit a detour when I met sexy Carter in the airport lounge. We struck up a heated conversation. Then, he left. I thought I'd never see him again. But fate had other plans. Surprise! He was the pilot of my flight.

It started out like any normal day. Then the fender bender happened. The guy I collided with drove an expensive car and was drop-dead gorgeous. Too bad he was also a total jerk. We argued over whose fault it was and any other thing that came out of his condescending mouth. Eventually, the police came and we went our separate ways. The insurance companies would have to figure things out. I had a job interview to get to anyway - one I was excited about. Though that excitement changed to disappointment the moment the person interviewing me walked in. The guy from the accident.

When I first encountered Ford Donovan, I had no idea who he was...well, other than the obvious. Young, gorgeous, successful, smart. Did I mention young? If I did, it bears repeating. Ford Donovan was too young for me. Let’s back up to how it all started. My best friend decided I needed to start dating again. So, without my knowledge, she set up a profile for me on a popular dating site - one that invited men ages 21 to 27 to apply for a date.

My planned trip for two unexpectedly turned into a trip for one. Rather than let my breakup get me down, I packed my bags and decided a week at a luxury resort was just what I needed. But one calamity after the next, and suddenly I was stuck without a hotel room, along with a few hundred other people. It looked like my fancy vacation was about to turn into me sleeping on the hotel lobby floor. Until I overheard a gorgeous man pretending to be someone he wasn’t in order to steal a reservation from a guest who hadn’t shown up yet.

I’d never forgotten him - a man I’d yet to meet. Griffin Quinn was my childhood pen pal, the British boy who couldn’t have been more different from me. Over the years, through hundreds of letters, we became best friends, sharing our deepest, darkest secrets and forming a connection I never thought could break. Until one day, it did. Then, out of the blue, a new letter arrived. A scathing one - one with eight years of pent-up anger. I had no choice but to finally come clean as to why I stopped writing. Griffin forgave me, and we were able to rekindle our childhood connection.

Donovan and I met at a coffee shop to do the suitcase exchange. Turned out, it wasn’t just his voice that was sexy. The man holding my luggage was absolutely gorgeous, and we had an immediate spark. He got me to admit that I’d snooped in his bag and then convinced me to make it up to him by letting him buy me coffee. Coffee led to dinner, dinner led to dessert, and dessert led to spending an entire weekend together. So what did I do to repay him for his kindness? I waited until he was in the shower, then ghosted him.

Reasons why I should not be drawn to Troy Serrano. Number one: He’s obnoxious. Number two: We were enemies more than a decade ago. Number three: He’s my friend’s ex-boyfriend. I could go on and on, really. When my boss gives me an unwanted assignment, and tells me it involves spending time with the grandson of one of our residents, the grandson turns out to be Troy. Lucky me. Four hours a week of having to deal with his insufferable personality and unsolicited advice - the only consolation is getting to stare at his annoyingly gorgeous face, in between our many arguments.

The first time I met Hudson Rothschild was at a wedding. I’d received an unexpected invitation to one of the swankiest venues in the city. Hudson was a groomsman and quite possibly the most gorgeous man I’d ever laid eyes on. He asked me to dance, and our chemistry was off the charts. I knew it wasn’t a good idea to get involved with him, considering the wedding I was at. But our connection was intense, and I was having a great time. Though the fun came to a screeching halt when Hudson figured out I wasn’t who I’d said I was.

An Invitation to a Great Story
- By KarenW on 23-01-21
Summary
From New York Times best-seller Vi Keeland comes a new, sexy stand-alone novel.
It was just a typical Monday. Until the big boss asked me to make the pitch for a prospective new client. After two years on shaky ground at work because of my screw up, an opportunity to impress the senior partners was just what I needed. Or so I thought....
Until I walked into the conference room and collided with the man I was supposed to pitch to. My coffee spilled, my files tumbled to the ground, and I almost lost my balance. And that was the good part of my day. Because the gorgeous man who crouched down and looked at me like he wanted to eat me alive was none other than my ex, Gray Westbrook - a man who I'd only just begun to move on from. A man who my heart despised - yet my body obviously still had other ideas about. A man who was as charismatic and confident as he was sexy.
Somehow, I managed to make it through my presentation ignoring his intense stare. Although it was impossible to ignore all the dirty things he whispered into my ear right after I was done. But there was no way I was giving him another chance, especially now that he was a client...was there?

I loved it
Funnily enough, after reading a few chapters of this book, I pretty much thought it was cut and dried and that I would be reading a happy go lucky romance, but no! Wham bam! Curve ball, after curveball! I was just recovering from one, expecting everything to be all hunky dory again, and. Wham! Another curveball. Not so cut and dried anymore. I loved the writing, dual POV, a perfect story that pushed all my buttons, I loved the characters, Gray Westbrook, super dreamy, super sexy alpha male, wrongfully imprisoned for 3 years. A second chance romance that I adored, I was an emotional wreck in places, so much drama. A story I didn’t want to end. Full five star read for me. With my dream team Vi Keeland writing and Sebastian York and Andi Arndt narrating the audio version, it was a win win before I’d put my headphones on. I loved it.

I really enjoyed this book from the moment I started to listen, right through to the end. The twist in the middle took me by surprise and added real depth. The two main characters I instantly warmed to but I also liked the secondary ones as well.
These two narrators took the audio book from good to an excellent listen. They really made the story come to life.
This is my second book by this author and will not be my last. So far I have loved her style of writing.

Wow!! LOVED IT!
I absolutely loved this book, simply couldn't put it down. Laughing out several times. This book was more than fun. Grayson is a sweet and sexy guy who backs up his talk with seduction and action. Vi has a way with stories and I think this one is my best of hers so far, and Mr Moneybags was very good too, didn't think another book would top it, but...
As for the narrators, exceptonal, the cherry on the top.

A SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE
I really enjoyed this second chance romance.
The Naked Truth is not without its ups and downs and it was definitely a page turner so to speak. I listened to this on audio and I loved the narration, Sebastian York really brought across Gray Westbrook's sexy and cocky demeanor swoon worthingly well.
Gray Westbrook and Layla Hutton meet in prison, Gray is serving time, something to do with money swindling which was a setup and Layla is doing community service, teaching classes for breaching client-lawyer confidence.
Layla and Gray are attracted to each other build a friendship and even after Layla has finished her punishment she continues to see him every week until she sees something in the sign in guest book that has her running.
Over a year later, Gray is a free man, ready to build his empire back up and his first stop is to visit Layla's company and have an attorney for his business ventures and find out why he was left high, dry and existing on the memories of Layla while finishing his sentence.
Layla is just building herself back up from the heartbreak and Gray is desperate to see the woman he fell in love with who just stopped visiting without a word.
There's a lot of push and pull, Layla felt lied to and hurt and Gray really has to work hard to win her trust back.
The Naked Truth has plenty of hot moments, Gray is one dirty talker and oh so sexy.
I enjoyed it, would recommend it. The Naked Truth is an easy read with no major angst or drama.
Told in first persons dual pov a& leads to hea.

Second chance love you say? Sign me up i said!!
Loved this one, as you all probably know by now second chance love stories are probably one of my favourite to read, and this one had it all!
Layla is an Attorney, she is a hard worker, and is always the first one to arrive in the morning and the last one to leave at night.
A small mistake on her part had her doing some community service a few years ago, but now she is back on track and working her way up the ladder of success and maybe into a senior position at the firm.
She has a meeting with a client with a potential to make the company a lot of money, the thing is that she didn't realise the client was no other that Gray Westbrook, a former flame of hers, she also didn't realise that her feelings for him had only weakened and not died.
Gray, well what can i say about Gray but Hot Damn!!
There are a couple of things that majorly made me love him but unfortunately they would be spoilers so i'm not going to tell you them!
But what i can tell you, is that Gray is not the type of man to take no for an answer, he is not the type of guy to let someone else move in on his girl, and he is certainly not the type of man to walk away when the going gets tough!
The thing is that Layla doesn't quite agree with him, so she has to consult her 'Yeahway' list to see if it works out in her favour.
What's a Yeahway list??? Well that would be telling now wouldn't it!
🎧🎧 Narrated by the dream-team that is Andi Arndt #SexyVoiceQueen and Sebastian York #SebYesPlease
You always know when a book is narrated by these two that you are in for a treat, they are like that comfy blanket you wrap up in, you always feel safe, warm and comfy.

This isn’t a typical love story.
It’s been a while since I read— or listen to —a Vi Keeland’s book. Well, at least one of her solo books, because I loved her latest duo books with Penelope Ward, The Rush Duet , which I loved like crazy. I loved all her books I read in the past, so I knew I’d love this one too, but as much as I actually do now after finishing it.
The Naked Truth features the story of Layla and Greyson. This isn’t a typical love story. They met in the most unexpected place, their short but intense relationship ended for a huge misunderstanding and now it’s the time for Greyson to gain back Layla’s heart. And what I loved about it is that it wasn’t easy for either of them. There must be forgiveness, and true love and complete trust between them so they could overpass all the obstacles and finally have their HEA.
There was a moment in the book when I was afraid to have the worst kind of drama and/or angst, but it turned out to be something completely different and I loved the outcome of it. I SIMPLY LOVED IT. I also loved two secondary characters so much— not saying because of spoilers, sorry —but they both had a great impact on Layla and Greyson’s relationship. But what I loved the most was Layla and Grey’s relationship. It was romantic, intense and so beautiful!! Like I said before, the ending of this book was THE PERFECT HEA!!!
Sebastian York and Andi Arndt did an amazing job with their narrations. They brought Layla and Greyson’s characters perfectly, their voices matched their personalities and they put so much emotion and passion into their performances, making this an even better story.

A REFRESHING JOURNEY OF ROMANCE & SECOND CHANCES
Well the truth is.. I love love loved this entertaining and nicely paced contemporary romance.. well it is written by the talented author Vi Keeland.. and the excellent dual POV narration was performed by two of my favorite narrators - Sebastian York and Andi Arndt.. so enough said.
Attorney Layla and mega-rich Businessman Gray had met a year previously.. under very unconventional circumstances.. and their attraction and intense chemistry was off-the-charts but, at the time, they weren’t in a position to take their relationship further. Over time, they’d become good friends and had confided in each other.. but Gray was holding back something big.. and, when Layla found out Gray had lied to her, it broke the relationship apart. This was the backstory ‘off book’.
Now Gray, free to act on his deep feelings for Layla, is determined to win back the beautiful, smart and sassy woman who charmed him a year ago, the sweet woman whose soul connected to his, the stubborn woman who now has a boyfriend.. the ‘hopefully’ forgiving woman who stole his heart. However, Layla had been emotionally scarred and damaged by her father’s lifelong lies and doesn’t want to hear Gray’s excuses for his lies.. but Gray doesn’t plan on giving up until Layla becomes his. Good second chance storyline which, with an unforeseen roadblock and a detour or two, becomes a third chance storyline because Gray - the sexy, generous, dirty-talking, possessive, alpha hero, selflessly screws up and derails their relationship so he needs a third chance with Layla to finally get their relationship right.. to lay his past to rest.. to change the course of his life.. and to get their well deserved HEA ending.
Worth a credit? Yes, this is an enjoyable, sweet, sexy, fun, addictive dual POV book with great characters and it was perfectly narrated too. Ms. Keeland has written a compelling book that’s got great characters, smooth banter, heart-to-hearts, sexy times, romance, touching scenes and sad times too. I swooned, drooled, sighed, chuckled and nearly cried.. but, through their push/pull journey of discovery and love, I was thoroughly, and completely, entertained.

Meh
Personally, this just didn’t do much for me. I found the heroine deeply unlikable. For being an “intelligent” woman, she was kind of an idiot, unprofessional, emotionally immature and extremely selfish.
The dialogue was stilted and the plot twist was out of left field and totally bizarre.
First, I increased the speed to 1.5 to try to get through this. Then I had to skip multiple chapters just to finish. I’ve read others by this author that I enjoyed, but this one is just a miss for me.

Perfect!
I was worried about the guy being with another girl between their seperation because I hate when that happens in books but I should have known I had nothing to fear! This was such a great book! This author is an auto buy for me and she just keeps getting higher and higher on that pedestal. The narrators were perfect and the story was perfect so perfection all around.

Loved this story
Loved the story! Narrators are two of my favorite, they make the characters come to life and the story flows smoothly through out the book.

Phenomenal
I love when a book can take me through surprise twists and turns. Personally, I rarely read a synopsis to a book, so I truly loved the background story of these characters. It was so different and kept me intrigued all the way through. And Etta was a true treat!!!
In regards to the narrator's, they speak for themselves. Best duo in the biz.
