About this listen
Once Amber Wynters would have said she’d only ever marry for love, but then her scheming, no good, two-timing ex-fiancé, Rod, breaks her heart and bankrupts her parents.
There is no way she’s going to stand by and watch her parents have to sell their family home, a beautiful Tudor house that has been in the family for generations.
So, armed with a self-help book and a 10 point plan, she sets off to hook herself a rich husband and pay her parents' debts. Then, on a millionaire's yacht, she meets the drop-dead gorgeous Jed Curtess. The attraction between them is sizzling, but Jed is only a hired hand. Can Amber ignore her heart and follow her millionaire plan?

Nice book
Pleasantly surprised by this book given that it was a freebie. Lovely characters brought to life quite well by the narrator.

Fatuous and feeble
You stupid to believe… do such silly, inept and naive people believe or did the main characters donate their brains at birth?

The monotone narrator
The plot was gentle and easy to listen to. Unfortunately the narrator sounded like AI. No tone or expression which was disappointing.

Poor narrative
Story was enjoyable but absolutely no emotion in the narrative voice, I suppose it’s worth a try

Enjoyable story, awful narrator
Enjoyed the story but struggled with the narrator, persevered to the end but there were plenty of times I wanted to give up because I found the voices so irritating.
