About this listen
Bobby and Becca Warren are enjoying college life when a mysterious disease ravages the country. With chaos ensuing, they head for home to join their family, but when they arrive they discover their home has been burned and find the graves of their mother and youngest brother in the backyard.
With scavengers swarming over the neighborhood, the siblings decide to search for their father using clues he has left for them, but before they can find him they are captured by a local militia. Caught between a psychotic killer and an advancing foreign army with no chance to escape, their only hope rests with their father, who doesn't even know they are alive.

Random Survival 2
Book 2 is action packed throughout and portrays a different perspective of survival to that of Book 1, with the introduction to a number of new characters. The sibling storyline was great but I wished it was fleshed out a bit more. I was waiting for the sister to get up to much more crazy antics but she plateaued after awhile. I would be happy to read a book just about the sibling. I also loved the aspect of a serial killer roaming around as an additional level danger, to an already dangerous survival situation. His character was cut short, I would have loved to have seen his story continue and evolve. I appreciate how parts of the story are not spelled out for you, but is left to your imagination as to what could have happened. Overall I enjoyed Book 2 and would recommend. I was given a copy of this book for free of my choosing and have voluntarily left this review.
