Summary
Is it possible to move forward when the past is unresolved? Or could it be that you must move on to uncover the past?
Following her mother's death, Emily Watson is determined to learn more about her history. She had never met her father, but when she finds letters between her parents, she’s filled with a yearning desire to learn more before taking further steps forward in her own life.
Yet, when she sees Richard Ball’s advertisement searching for a bride, she sees an opportunity that could push her forward at the same time as unlocking her past. Perhaps this man could help her find her father....
Meanwhile, Richard is bored by nearly every letter he reads in response to his ad. He’s distracted by the possibility of life in Iron Creek and not convinced by the chance of finding love at all, but Emily’s letter shifts something inside him. Perhaps he doesn’t have to be looking for love to make this work. Perhaps helping out a woman in need is enough.
Real life seems to rear its head at every turn. Will they ever be able to share their feelings for one another? Or will their individual needs to move on prevent them from being able to move forward together?

fantastic
A fantastic addition to the Iron Creek Series. I love how you revisit this town and yet, it never gets old. There are new faces to "see" and old ones to visit. This story, as with all of this author, is unique. I look forward to reading more by her and this series.
