Totally new subject matter for me-SO interesting!
Wow, I have never listened (or read) anything like this before, so very interesting and a totally different perspective than I have ever heard before. Certainly, it is thought provoking. I appreciated the resources at the end of the book and will check some of them out. I liked the short chapters, I could listen to a segment and end the chapter to think about it for a while. It is hard to believe you put it together in 6 days... thanks for an interesting listen (and for the free PDF).

A Journey to Clarity!
A thought-provoking book that examine the often-misunderstood topic of the "End Times" and what Jesus truly meant when discussing the last days. Personally, this book was a revelation for me. It's easy to get caught up in the fear and anxiety associated with discussions about the end times, and this book helped me see these prophecies in a new light. The explanations provided about Biblical terms and their historical significance were eye-opening. It was like connecting the dots to a puzzle I didn't even know I was trying to solve. The author's clear and concise presentation of complex ideas made it easy to follow and absorb.

Interesting perspective
I recently finished The Last Days Are Behind Us - Understand What Jesus Said About the Last Days and Live in Freedom from Fear of Thinking We're in the "End Times", and I am blown away by the insights and understanding that author MT Tombson provides. MT Tombson does an incredible job of exploring the true meaning of “the last days” that Jesus Christ intended to convey, and how those teachings have been distorted by many people. His passion and interest for the subject make this book a must-listen for those seeking spiritual enrichment and a greater comprehension of Jesus' teachings. I especially liked when he talked about cognitive dissonance and how important it is to question if our beliefs are founded in truth. The narrator of the audiobook also does an exceptional job of capturing the emotion and depth of the text, and I would recommend this book to anyone looking to gain a deeper understanding of the New Testament and the Bible.

An interesting book and discussion.
This is an interesting book in presenting an alternative view to the terms "Last Days" and "End Times" when it is referenced by interpreters. The historical context around Jesus' words in warning Isreal at the time of his earthly ministry is one of the tenants of this book that I could agree. The author cites translations, history and Josephus in which I am aware. All attempting to attach the terms of the "Last days" to ONLY the period prior to AD 70. This I partially agree with the premise historically. Since I am aware that the earth will never perish, and only changes in ages and dispensations past and forthwith, i can follow his "historically attached to AD 70 in name" premise.
I am not threatened by this book as an alternative view, but it can be a dangerous distraction. Historically I can see the authors angles and have read them before. This book affirmed me greatly in my current belief structure that a punishment period for Isreal is STILL ahead and not behind. AD 70 is not the end for Isreal of what is to come in Revelation 4-18. Whatever you would like to call it. Great Tribulation is the work of God The Father with the upcoming seals, bowls and judgements, thus AD 70 was not of God but an allowance of mankind to punish Isreal.
I enjoyed the chapter on "Christ is All and In All" which is correct. This chapter allowed me to grant a 4 star for this book as it is truth! Christ is and should be the focus of ALL narratives which this author does. I do not believe in partial Preterism which this book promotes or full Preterism. To anyone that reads this book, please do not be distracted and adhere to 2 Timothy 2:15 as that is a step toward spiritual discernment via The Holy Spirit. The Spirit illuminates.

An Enlightening Journey Towards Freedom
"The Last Days Are Behind Us" by M. T. Tombson is a refreshing and insightful exploration of a topic that has captivated the minds of many for centuries—the "end times." In a world where apocalyptic predictions and fear-mongering often dominate discussions about the future, Tombson's book stands out as a beacon of rationality and hope.
In this meticulously crafted audiobook, Tombson skillfully dissects the biblical teachings and prophecies related to the "last days." His approach is rooted in a deep understanding of scripture and a critical and open-minded perspective that encourages readers to reevaluate their beliefs. Rather than perpetuating fear and uncertainty, Tombson's mission is to guide listeners toward a more informed and liberating perspective on these ancient prophecies.
Tombson also addresses a crucial issue—how fear surrounding the "end times" can hinder personal growth and spiritual development. He emphasizes that living in constant anticipation of the apocalypse can lead to anxiety and a lack of engagement with the present moment. By encouraging listeners to release their fears and live in the freedom of the present, Tombson offers a profound message of hope.
Furthermore, Tombson provides historical context for the development of eschatological beliefs, shedding light on how different interpretations have emerged over the centuries. This historical perspective adds depth to the audiobook and helps listeners appreciate the diversity of thought within Christianity.
"The Last Days Are Behind Us" is not merely a critique of prevalent beliefs; it also offers a positive and constructive perspective on how to approach the future. Tombson suggests that focusing on love, compassion, and the teachings of Jesus is the path to true spiritual growth. His message is inclusive, appealing to both believers and skeptics alike.
In conclusion, M. T. Tombson's "The Last Days Are Behind Us" is a thought-provoking, well-researched, and compassionate exploration of a subject that affects the beliefs and lives of millions. It is a must-listen for anyone seeking a more balanced, hopeful, and enlightened understanding of the "end times" and how to live without fear in an uncertain world. Tombson's audiobook has the power to transform the way you think about the future, offering a liberating perspective that can set you free from the shackles of apocalyptic dread.
