Very imaginary & important story
An important story and will be enjoyable for the young people especially and thought provoking for the older generation. performances from all involved were excellent. Well written and if generations can take onboard the damage we are inflicting on our planet and act to improve it and our governments then it will be a well directed story. well done 👍

A perfect, uplifting Christmas story for our times.
This story is wonderful; the voice cast is superb, the story completely compelling, and the ending so uplifting.
While M G Leonard doesn’t shy away from addressing important and relevant themes, the overall tone of The Ice Children is so very positive and uplifting, filled to the brim with the joy of winter.
A must-listen for any child who loves snow and stories!

I loved this magical journey! Highly recommended.
MG Leonard creates beautiful magical worlds for children whilst engaging us all effortlessly with issues of climate change!
It’s a wonderfully performed story… lots of amazing sound effects, a great audio drama for children (9yrs plus) and young at heart adults.

Magic Winter Wonderland
Finn Albedo is found frozen solid at night in a rose garden on December 1. Doctors and police don't know what to do or think of this strange case. On the second day of December, two children are found frozen. Bianca is Finn's sister and she is convinced a silver book is behind the magic that is turning children to ice, but none of the adults believe her.
This is a great story, I wasn't expecting the climate change to be such a large part of it but I am glad it is. And I also hope children and adults feel compelled to change something after listening to it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that sometimes I could not understand the words as the narrator was speaking louder than some of the characters. The Winter Queen is particularly hard to listen to if you're not using headphones.

Magical Journey
Loved the story and all the different magical aspects of it - my son and I really enjoyed this book.
I did find some of the character narration a bit annoying as it was very quiet compared to the rest of the conversation, but the story itself was well narrated and had a real message to it in the end.

Better than most originals
There were a ton of plot holes, but it was nice and wintery and it was better than most audible originals (although that’s not a very high bar).

Wish we could hear better
A very good little story for my children and I to listen to on the way to and from school. Narration was stellar- beautiful voice, clear and strong. Biggest issue was the change in volume for the individual characters. Bianca is loud enough but various others sound like they're several feet from the microphone in a large studio. But we're still enjoying it- at top volume!
