About this listen

The Second World War is over. Three top Nazis have embezzled $780 million from Nazi funds - and then committed suicide. Their Covenant, to be inherited by their three eldest children, is to redistribute this vast wealth amongst the survivors of the Holocaust. Reparation must be made. Conventional Noel Holcroft is one of the inheritors and his mission is to find the other two 'children' and prove himself worthy of his task. But the Sonnenkinder, the Children of the Sun, are determined to gain control of the millions and establish a Nazi Fourth Reich. As Holcroft tries to carry out his destiny, he finds himself enmeshed in a bewildering, horrifying nightmare.

I really like Ludlum it is an awesome writer and this is a great story of a man on a mission and quite literally getting attacked from all sides, with his enemies so close yet so far. Its a story of a person getting messed about on a truly massive scale and I really liked the reader.

Very Cool

This was a disappointing book lacking in suspense or intrigue. The plot line had no direction and it contained characters you didn't create any bond with. As a fan of Ludlum's other works it seemed completely out of place. Was one of the first audiobooks I actually struggled to finish.

Muddled storyline with characters you don't really care about

Read the book many years ago and loved it. I also thought audible great and narrated very well. Looking forward to listening more of Rob Shapiro.

Great

Rob Shapiro is an excellent story teller. His character accent's are superb, even with the odd venture into Cockney-Sparrow English. Rob makes this a great listen.

Easily as good as the Bourne series. A magnificent book, loads of twists and well paced novel. Terrific stuff and read superbly.

I’d vaguely remembered the poor film version, but never watched more than a few minutes of it, so decided to buy the original.

I was not disappointed, I’m not going to give anything away but this book literally had me gripped till the very end. Fanatic plot twist.

Simply Brilliant

I enjoyed from start to finish . The plot was plausible and as such scary! Leaves me seeking other Robert Ludlum novels.
