Summary

Victor is the perfect killer. He has no past. He will stop at nothing. And he can find you anywhere. In sweltering Algiers, ultra-efficient hitman Victor executes a fellow assassin. But when the CIA comes calling, Victor must pose as his victim to identify the dead man's next mark--a mission that takes him across Europe to the bloody streets of Rome.

Working alongside a group of vicious mercenaries, Victor faces an impossible choice: to do what's right or to sacrifice the only thing he cares about: his life.

Full of white-hot tension and edge-of-the-seat action, The Game is the thrilling follow-up to The Hunter and The Enemy.

Victor outfoxes everyone. - again.

Another cracking yarn. Victor demonstrates his touroughness and wiley personality combined with cunning and guile. On this occasion not so much physical action, but more cunning and excellent application of the 7Ps

Another great Victor story

Couldn't stop listening to Mr Woods story about Victor, staying awake late in to the night, absolute brilliant writing didn't want the story to end, it's late as I write this but can't wait to listen to Book 4 of the Victor storyline....hope he doesn't die at the end. I love how the story was narrated, great it's been the same person from the beginning .... you did a fantastic job Mr Philpot, loved hearing your voice as Victor, can't wait to hear you again in book 4 .... Better Of Dead.

Definetly Worth a Credit

Would you consider the audio edition of The Game to be better than the print version?

yes

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The opening scene where Victor is chasing another hitman, I really liked how Victor kept up with hin, but the best scene for me is the end where Victor tricks Heart into getting killed with his own gun!... classic!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes

Any additional comments?

The Game was better than I thought it was. The way it keeps you wondering what Victor's really been hired for, there's just so many twists that make this book so good

Great fun for this genre

Would you consider the audio edition of The Game to be better than the print version?

No, I just prefer Audio books. This is a good yarm about spies, assasins and dramatic effect of a world we all hope does not exist.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Game?

It was all good fun
